After replying to Newton's question, Jasper moved to stand next to Alyssa. He stared at her quietly. He could still see tear tracks on her pretty face. Her hair covered half of her face, making her look even more pitiful and frail. Alyssa blushed in embarrassment. Another teardrop dripped off her eyelashes at that moment. Jasper's focus was now on Alyssa's eyelashes. He could feel his chest heaving slightly as he stared at her eyelashes in a daze.

I got up from my bed and walked towards the window. Parting the curtains to the side, the blinding light of the sun piercing through the window panes made me close my eyes for a moment. I closed my eyes tightly then opened them slowly until I got adjusted to the glare. The moment I gazed into the distance, all I could see was the rich and sprawling greeneries below the wide canopy of the sky, animated by its sailing, fluffy clouds. From where I stood, it looked like I was on top of a hill overlooking the rolling stretch of farms and plain below.

Lucy joined in. Glancing up through my lashes, my lips spread into a wide, thin line.

[Amor’s POV] “Seventy-five and one hundred and fifteen.” I laid on the mattress on my back. I smiled. Her nervously flickering eyes. Her controlled breaths and her… scent. Drawing her eyes with my finger in the air, I reminded myself once again of how perfect they were. “Seventy-five eyelashes on her lower eyelids and one hundred and fifteen on her upper eyelids. Not one less or more in her eyes. Just perfect.”

She looked at him, and their eyes met. Eric was fascinated by her blue eyes and kept staring into them. At first, he thought her lashes were not real for they were too thick and dark, and much longer than most people. But looking up closely, her lashes were indeed real. He couldn’t help but get closer to her and watch her pupils react and her lashes flutter at him. Eric, stunned by her beauty was left breathless. He couldn’t say anything but breathe in her scent. His hand went to cup her beautiful face. He was leaning in closer to her and tilted her head to him.

“Look up, baby.” As she did, I watched her eyes widen and go wild. She didn’t notice the mirror on the ceiling earlier. Her skin was pink and glistening.

She sighs,

Kayla breathed out and I breathed out a small laugh. “We literally texted today, Kay.” I pointed to her on a small huff and watched as she rolled her eyes almost immediately before tugging one of her hands from mine, and I watched as she used her finger to stroke them over one of her artificial eye lashes, which I had a feeling had been trying to get into her eyes.

She slowly opened her eyes as her eyelashes fluttered. As the sunlight was shining on her face, she found it to be too bright. She looked at him with narrowed eyes. What she did made her look a little dreamy as she slightly tilted her head, making a few loose strands of hair fall on her collarbones.
