Orla could only stand still like a statue now because in front of her was a golden-haired wolf with sharp white teeth. And behind her is a Wolf with gray fur. It seems more ferocious.

"How about if I dump my stuff in with yours. I have a few things I have to take care of. Then I'll come back and do guard duty with Lupo here but from the inside." She tilted her head to look up at him. "Lupo? He has a name?" "I gave him one. Lupo is Italian for wolf. And he should have a name, don't you think?" "Oh. Well. I guess I hadn't thought about it but sure." She ran her hand over the statue's pelt and Mike was sure he could feel that hand on him. "Hello, Lupo. Are you going to protect me while Mike takes care of his business?"

He reached out, his hand tangling in my hair, pulling my head back just enough to expose my throat. His eyes dropped to the faint, red marks his teeth had left. "In your world, I am a businessman. I wasn’t sure if Luna had informed him of the decision this late at night. Seeing my silence, Kelvin let out a low, mocking laugh, his gaze dripping with contempt. His wolf mirrored the same smugness, as though no one but him could ever be my mate. He turned to Amanda and said, with exaggerated sarcasm, “You’re mistaken, my Luna.
