She picked up the fork with shaking fingers and took a bite, the taste bursting on her tongue it was sweet, warm, safe. She didn’t know if it was the exhaustion, the hunger, or the simple act of someone caring, but the bite hit something deep inside her, something fragile and frayed. For a moment, she just let herself sit there, savoring it. The bell above the diner’s entrance jingled, and all too swiftly the smell of cheap cologne and alcohol penetrated the atmosphere of the diner.

He never saw her smiling face. "Its all my fault that you become like this"he said looking at the pictures. "I failed to protect you" He mutter with the sad smile. His heart clench to see her this way. Who would believe that this is the same girl who used to be very vibrant, hopefull, who is not afraid to follow her dream. Ever her smile is very healing. He recall the day when he first met her that is the first day of his pre school. FLASHBACK Little Asher is very scared at his first day of school. He looked at his mom who smile at him to encourage him to go with his teacher to his class.

She can feel the fast heartbeat of him. " You are very very ugly. You are the ugliest girl in this whole world," Shivansh whispered caressing her cheeks. His hot breath fanned over her lips which just trembled a little. A chuckle left her mouth and she was going to look down because of shyness when he rested his thumb and index finger under her chin. He raised her face and continued looking into her eyes. " I love you," Shivansh whispered brushing his lips with her lips very gently.

He said to pick up his cutlery, while I also do the same, curious to know what it’s going to taste like. “Mmm..” I couldn’t help but moan when the first bite melted into my mouth. “This is delicious,” I said after swallowing the first bite. “I am glad you like it, but say no more, just enjoy yourself.” He said again, I don’t need to be told twice. I took my time to savour every bite before swallowing it.

I kept thinking about how we got in here and fell asleep here but I couldn't really remember so I just ignored it. I pee and after that I washed my face then I turned my gaze to the mirror. I'm looking at my face when I noticed that there was something in my neck. My heart beat faster when I realized what it was. Shaking, I raised my hand to touch the one on my neck. "How did I get this?" My heart was beating fast and I felt like I was going to fall over. I was convincing myself that it was just a bite of a mosquito but no, it was a bite of a wolf. I slowly sat down on the bathroom floor and fixed my own hair.

I picked up a fork. Tom plucked it out of my fingers and speared a bite through the layers of flaky pastry, then held it to my lips. “Allow me.” I swallowed, closed my eyes, and opened my mouth. He guided the bite inside, and I closed my lips around it. Complex, rich flavors burst over my tongue, and I moaned. It was incredible. When I opened my eyes again to tell Tom he had to try it, he was staring at my mouth with dark eyes.

Then—without breaking eye contact—he took a bite. Chewed once. Twice. His face did something complicated—brows drawing together, mouth twisting, a flicker of genuine surprise breaking through. He swallowed. Looked down at the slice like it had betrayed him. “Well?” I asked. “It’s… not terrible.” I laughed—real, startled laughter that bounced off the basement walls. “High praise.” “Don’t get used to it.” He took another bite anyway. Smaller. Like he was checking whether the first had been a fluke. “Still tastes like wet cardboard with dirt on it.”

He'd roll his eyes, but the corners of his mouth always twitched up. The second the smell of blue cheese filled the room, his eyes lit up. His will to live seemed stronger than ever. "I've missed that smell so much... I need to wake up already so I can eat it with Ruth." The moment he said that, the lines on the heart monitor flickered. I picked up a small piece of cheese and carefully took my first bite. "Felix, you know something? Thanks to you, this is the first time I've ever eaten something this fancy. Back home, I barely ever got good snacks. So yeah, this is my first time trying something this expensive."

I looked down at the wooden thick tray the food was served on and couldn’t help but purse my lips together. I picked up the knife and fork and cut the meat that was submerged in the steak sauce. Then I picked a piece up with my fork andI blew a lot on it after which I put it in my mouth. First bite and I fell in love. “Mmmm!” I closed my eyes and waved my fists next to my chest slightly in delight, “This is so good!” I spoke after swallowing the piece. “Right?” Valek smiled at me. A soft happy smile that for some reason made my heart skip a beat.
