Under The Waning Moon

Under The Waning Moon

The murky water of the swamp rippled and then became calm again as if nothing had happened. The silver moon was high in the night sky and the gentle breeze blew as they all stood at the bank, watching the swamp in silence. The wedding bouquet that Lina threw in the water could no longer be seen in the dark. She stepped closer to Eon’s side who automatically opened his arm to enfold her. “Eon, Lina, we have to go. Thank you for inviting us to your wedding.” Briare’s voice broke the silence between them.

Dear Don

Dear Don

“I’ll pull you up. Will you be alright out of water for a few hours?” Grabbing onto the floating device, Aqua nodded and let Dawn hoist her onto the boat. The human was strong as he carried her up effortlessly. Were all humans like this? Maybe this man could fight a whale and win even if he swam slowly. “I can stay out of water for a few hours. However, my tail will disappear when the sun comes up, so I need to take you back to the land before it.”

One More Hot Contract with the Shadow Alpha

One More Hot Contract with the Shadow Alpha

CORALINA'S POV The high tide does not arrive with a whisper; it arrives with the roar of exploding granite. The middle of the night shatters as a concussive shockwave rips through the lower foundations of the Frost-Hearth. The impact is so violent it throws me from our bed, the furs sliding away as the polished obsidian floor groans and vibrates beneath my bare knees. The air inside the sovereign chamber instantly chokes with the sharp, burning stench of pre-Pulse heavy munitions, sulfur, and a dense, terrifyingly familiar current of cold salt brine.

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

Winter on the coast was a moody, magnificent beast. The storms were more theatrical, the lulls between them softer, the light a pale, liquid gold. The Tidewater Trail, now bedecked with subtle, solar-powered fairy lights for the solstice season, became a place of stark beauty. The “Soup & Stargazing” event was a roaring success, with Miranda using a laser pointer to connect constellations to local marine life myths, and Hank declaring his fish chowder “the only celestial body worth worshipping.”

Fake Vow, True Luna

Fake Vow, True Luna

Olivia The beach stretched ahead, an unending carpet of pale sands kissing the obsidian water under the canopy of twilight. The sea sang its nightly lullaby, and the receding sun cast long, wavering shadows across the sand. Nathan’s silhouette was just one of them, a dark outline against the shimmering expanse of the horizon. As I drew closer, my heart raced in a symphony of uncertainty and hope. He looked handsome as he stood as still as a statue, looking out over the waters. I joined him, quietly stopping at his side.

The Brightest Shadow: Teenage Days

The Brightest Shadow: Teenage Days

] ••• CHOI JIYEON! There, a heavy blanket of twinkling stars carefully stretched out to infinity as the pale crescent moon shone brightly like a silvery claw in the night sky. It was the night that was roughly overwhelmed by huge waves and whistles of the biting wind that mercilessly sent chills to one's body if ever they collided.

The Moon God's Bride

The Moon God's Bride

Why not now? With a dark smile, Solas stretched out his hand, his fingers tracing the air as he began to manipulate the moon’s pull on the tides. Slowly, the waters began to churn, roaring in the distance, the waves swelling and crashing with increasing fury. He could feel the power surging through him, spreading far beyond the cave, out into the world. He knew exactly where the waves would strike—along the shores of the village that had abandoned her.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

She felt heavy—horribly, wonderfully heavy. Lucas fell to his knees beside her. His silver arm had dimmed to the color of tarnished lead. The filigree no longer pulsed. He looked at his hand, then at Audrey. "It's over," he gasped, his voice purely human now. "The Tide is a wall of ice. It won't move for a thousand years." But the silence that followed was not one of peace. From the top of the frozen wave—the peak of the black ice—a figure emerged. It didn't have the parched skin of the Drought or the mist of the Silence.

Billionaire Contract Marriage: Her Quest

Billionaire Contract Marriage: Her Quest

"You do that. Consistently." The water moved below. Low tide turning. Imperceptibly at first. Then with quiet inevitability. Coming back. "The twins will be three months next week," I said. "I know." "Sarah says three months is different." "Sarah says a lot of things." "She's been right about most of them." He picked up his book again. I stayed in my chair. The ocean came back slowly. As it always did. Below us, the beach reshaped itself around the returning water, patient and unhurried, the way everything eventual and necessary always was.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

Subsequently, Tyr and Carson continued to chat for a little longer before they ended the call. After that, Tyr flipped through his overseas phone book, found a number within the list, and dialed it. *** Meanwhile, on a massive island located overseas. It was early morning on Tyr’s side and evening at the island. The fiery red sun had turned into dark red; half of the sun had slid down below sea level with its remaining afterglow shining upon the sea. The ocean was illuminated by its light, projected by the sea waves; it formed a rather breathtaking scene to take in.
