Tears welled out again, rolling down her cheeks as she looked at Ronan. “I loved him:…” she cried out. Lucien dropped to the floor, unable to touch himself. His wolf was not healing, his hands were out of his arm again, leaving him decapitated on the floor. He balled himself up, the agony he was feeling indescribable. Regret filled him up, regret mixed with proudness. He shouldn’t have come alone, thinking that nothing would happen. “He…..help…” he stuttered in pain. “Get….get the…the…doctor…”

I whispered, needing to know before I crossed the final edge, “why did you do this? I never did anything wrong to you.” But I knew the answer. This was Lucian's true colour- which I've been too blinded by infatuation to see. This is the man he is - which isn't surprising considering the fact that werewolves are the most arrogant set of creatures in the realms. This is the man he is. Someone who doesn't care, someone who would murder or hurt others just for the fun of it. “I do not owe you an explanation, Omega.” He sneered and I smiled bitterly.

Lucian paused, and I could tell he was struggling with his next words. "Tell me everything, Lucian," I cajoled him. "You have my word, I won't tell Serenity" Lucian let out another deep sigh before he continued. "In the midst of that rogue attack, probably in a state of panic, Andrea agreed to give Serenity to a werewolf who could control the rogues. The werewolf promised to keep her safe from the rogues, and Andrea blindly trusted him. To cut a long tale short, the werewolf turned on her and made the rogues kill her. In that battle, I lost my own mate, and my brother. Left with nothing else, I took Serenity who was barely a month old, and escaped from that hellhole. And three months later,

I voiced out, raising my tone, and lacing it with the proper amount of anger. “Your pack?” The wolf growled with intrigue. “Where were you when we had to bury our families after your stupid mate took us warriors to that forsaken sacred pack.” I froze. His words cut through me like a poisoned dagger. He can’t be talking about the sacred pack. No. Lucian. What had he done? What had he done to those innocent people? Within the words he had just said, it was clear now that he is one of Lucian’s warriors—at least he was. But he seemed to have lost a loved one, and that was he was out here—drunk with revenge.

I was too happy, too lost in this human, yet profoundly lupine, ecstasy. I had just had my first change, had truly become a werewolf, and now I was receiving the most devastating, soul-shattering head from my Alpha, my husband, in this sacred woods. The symmetry of it was as profound as it was pleasing. Lucian was, without a doubt, a killer with his mouth.

She could have been killed, he would have murdered his mate because he was a monster. “I just need to get out of here.” “Not before you tell me what you meant by that.” Lucian closed the space between them as his gorgeous amber eyes lit up. “Don't think I didn't notice the way you acted when Marino introduced me as a Callisto. His wolf was similar to mine, silver-furred and innocent. “Ow!” I winced as I stepped down from the bed. Liam stared at me with cute, glowing, innocent eyes. I shuffled closer and fondled its neck. Tears trickled down my cheeks. Niamh pranced in joy, seeing her mate transform. Liam grunted and I laughed. I wrapped around its neck and pushed my body against its soft, comfy fur. Lucian is the evil one, not his wolf. Liam suddenly raised its leg, pushing me away. It moved back, still staring innocently at me. It turned to the window, jumping out. Lucian is such an evil soul. He wouldn’t even allow me to enjoy the moment. I sniffed and returned to the bed. ~Lucian~

I knew the reason I left my pack or rather Alpha sol’s pack but the more Liz spoke the more i wondered if going rogue was really that bad. Rumor had it that Alex was kicked out of his pack as a teenager and had no choive but to create his own pack, turning a human so he didn't go feral. I didn't know if that rumor was actually true. Turning humans into werewolves was an urban myth. I had never heard it successfully done but i also knew if anyone could, it would be Alex. He takes in the strays, the wolves that have been kicked out of their packs or banished. Everyone can say all the bad shit they want to say, but he has got a good heart.

thundered a booming, startling voice that pierced the air and stopped the furious runners in their tracks, as they came close to colliding with the prince's protectors. It was Aric himself, the Alpha, the Darkfire pack's most feared lycan. "Listen to your king." he continued. The lycans detransformed and gradually resumed their human form. "Is werewolf vermin worth our tearing apart? We are lycans and our pride forbids us to reduce ourselves to such a futile confrontation. Look at the disaster caused around you and ask yourself if it is worthy of us . Now the show is over. Go home and resume your lives."

A sharp crack echoed through the cabin. Pain shot through her paw so violently that a howl ripped from her throat before she collapsed back onto the ground trembling. Lucian had broken it with one movement. “One crippled wolf trying to challenge a Lycan,” he murmured coldly. “Pathetic.” “Lucian, stop!” Kael’s voice thundered through the cabin, yet he still didn’t move from his place. Not even for her. “I will deal with you later,” Lucian replied calmly. “You are fortunate I still pity you.”
