Alpha Kyle's voice drifted into my ears and I couldn't help but shiver. Before I could react, I was taken away and thrown into the dungeon. But then this time, I care less about anything. You didn’t know.” He runs a hand through his hair. “Kellan pulled his declaration. He’s not claiming anyone tonight.”

Luke rushed back to the ward, flinging the door open with a bang, startling Christopher. Without explanation, he hurried over and turned off the television. "Phew..." He breathed a sigh of relief. Christopher furrowed his brows slightly, eyeing him coldly. "What are you doing?" Luke scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, forcing a laugh. "Haha, just worried that your eyes might get tired, sir. It's time for you to rest." Christopher found him strange. He turned, and unlocked the tablet at hand. "Ah!" This time, Luke was too late to cover it up; the trending topic had already popped up in front of Christopher.

Kim rewinds the show to the bit we were on when they first arrived, pausing it while the other two boys sit down. "My brother Shane." She points at the green eyed boy, then at the other two who are already talking about the episode and what's about to happen, she throws a chip at the two furthest away from her and then swipes her hand over the back of the head of the blonde beside her. "Oi, Jake's not seen this before, no spoilers. These two are Luke and Billy, who practically live here too." "Sorry." Her brother smiles sheepishly. "It's a really good episode though."

Allan said “Who?” Luke was curious “Lucas Miller, don’t be surprised!” Allan warned him, then he continued, “Your beloved brother-in-law, William Cruz. So, now what will you do?” Allan’s voice was deep “Are you serious?” Luke was shocked after hearing it “......” Luke went silent, then Allan on the other side spoke again, “I just want to tell you that! I’ll call Yoan later after……” He was about to continue but Luke cut him, “Don’t! I’ll handle it! Thanks Allan. Let’s talk again later.”

William called out, with his face becoming a world of brightness at the sight of the man who looks so much familiar his arms leaving the waist of the lady he’s holding to walk to us. They hug for what seemed like forever before pulling away and the six feet four inches Luke turns to look at me and those brown eyes tell me I’ve seen him somewhere. “You must be the Karen, I’m-“ “Japhia Castillo.” I blurt out before I can get to stop myself. He smiles a little, but shakes his head. “I’m Luke Castillo, this idiot’s best friend and Japhia’s older brother,” he chuckles immediately, and I smack my forehead.

When Xavia heard this name, the flames of hope flared up in her eyes as she asked, “You’re going to attend the investment promotion event?” Luke hung up the phone and looked at her. “Yes. Count yourself lucky. I’ll let you off for the time being but…” Luke smiled sinisterly. “Don’t be too happy. You can just drink this first and settle yourself at home. Wait for me to come home so that I can satisfy you completely.” As he spoke, he grabbed Xavia’s chin, wanting to forcefully feed her the medication.

“Tell me where we find Luke’s old lady.” Brian frowned. “Cassandra?” Both Jarek and I stared. I said, “No. Kandy.” Brian slapped a hand to his forehead. “Oh, shit. Right.” Then he shook his head. “No, Kandy isn’t his Old Lady. Cassandra is.” A beat. Then darker— “Kandy just gets to suck Luke’s dick when he wants information.” Even Jarek looked momentarily taken aback by the bluntness. Brian leaned against the wall.
