" Brandon says between laughs and I blush harder at what he called me. But I still don't get it. When Brandon finally stops laughing and sees my clueless expression he smiles. "Venti means large Darling." He laughs again. "And Grande means Medium and Tall means Small. I swear to god I usually hate all those idiotic Starbucks puns but you should have seen yourself!" "Oh" I answer and he laughs. His laugh is like music and I love music. "You don't come here often do you?" He asks. "N-not really no" I answer. Will he think that's weird?

The plates were cleared and two chilled glasses of drink were placed on the table. The pale yellow liquid caught the light, and I eyed it suspiciously. “What's that?” “It's called Limoncello. Trust me,” Xavier said. “You'll like it.” I hesitantly took a sip and savored the taste. “It's nice.” I took another before I could stop myself. “I like it.” “Good. Since that's settled…” Xavier reached behind him and brought out several boxes wrapped in elegant ribbon. “I bought a few things for you.”

When Luca pours himself a cup of coffee, Lumi turns to look at him. "Could you give me a cup too ?" "Sure". He pours a cup and comes over to put it in front of her, kind of leaning in over her. "Tell me what you think ?" Lumi takes a sip and makes a face. "It tastes like paint thinner and bad

I was starting to wonder if she was ever going to or if she had said so just to make me go away.

It was a promise. And slowly they were bringing me in.“Now,” Lucien said, his voice deeper, “you must swear loyalty to me.” His words echoed in my mind.
