He followed the scent trail and found them having fun in the nearby lake. His eyes immediately caught Luna, and what he saw nearly made him stumble. There she was, standing in the shallows. She couldn’t speak, yet she had fun with the kids. Luna’s skin seemed to glisten with water, and her soaked dress clung to every curve of her body. She couldn’t speak, yet she had fun with the kids. Ross couldn’t think of that move at that moment. It was as if he was compelled to stare at her. Ross suddenly felt his inner wolf stir.

I questioned him. He took a deep breath, seemingly reluctant to talk for a moment. I sat next to Sebastian, who swiftly placed his hand on my knee. Nathaniel looked uncomfortable, so I signaled Bastien to sit a few inches away. I needed as much information as I could get. “Mothe.. ah… the former Luna cast that spell on those cuffs and shackles. She is a hybrid of witch and she-wolf.” he paused. “ I haven’t seen her wolf yet, but I could sense her sometimes….”

he uttered. What about Luna Rhea? It was as if he heard me because he instantly spoke up, "The moon festival is close and her wolf needs to be trapped to avoid recognizing Daemon," Her wolf... I gaped in shock, Luna Rhea has a wolf!

Together, they ruled the largest werewolf empire in existence. And tonight, I was being delivered to them. Not as a guest. Not as a mate. As a surrogate. The Luna of my foster pack had smiled when she signed the contract. She’d kissed my cheek like a mother, as though she hadn’t just sold me. “For the good of the pack,” she had said. And as the moon crowned her in silver light, Selene knew the story had ended as it must. She was not theirs to claim, not his to discard, not anyone’s to bind. She was her own. The White Wolf Luna.

“We should rejoice, Kingdom of the Lycans! After a thousand years— the Goddess has chosen another Luna to save us from a catastrophe that the higher heavens bestowed!” Yulo’s announcement made the crowd roar in excitement and happiness about the new Luna.

He chuckled as he sat down on the empty bench across from Katie and me. I looked up to meet his gaze and he smiled that gorgeous grin at me again. The brunette girl Lauren huffed and rolled her eyes annoyed that he had sat down to talk to me. "That's better. So these markings are a gift from the Moon Goddess. And don't feel bad for being curious about them, everyone is when they first meet me. When I got them the council literally inspected them with a magnifying glass which was weird. No one alive has ever seen anything like this before because they are the markings of a blessed wolf. I'm the first one born in three centuries. The blessed Full Lunar Wolf. I didn't have these until I shifted

Everything I was before was gone. So who was I now? I wasn’t Luna anymore. That title belonged to Nyra. I wasn’t Corvin’s mate anymore, the bond was broken or replaced or whatever. I wasn’t even a full wolf anymore without Lyric. I was just Rael, nothing more. Just a broken woman with scars, pain, and no place in this world.

SYRA “Blessed Luna?” Luiz let out a sharp chuckle, setting his glass down. “What the actual hell did I miss while being locked up in this room?” Linda walked in, settling a tray of coffee on the center table. “So… what exactly is a Blessed Luna?” she asked, curiosity peeking through her usual calm demeanor. “It’s an urban legend among the wolf clans,” Jackson chimed in, grabbing a mug. “A powerful figure, born with unmatched abilities. Supposedly destined to rise when the wolves are on the brink of collapse.”
