Luna's Choice Kat Silver Novels & Stories

he said softly, "I meant what I told you at the border stone. I'm not letting them take you. Not tonight, not ever. That part was never conditional on what you decide right now." Luna held his gaze for a long moment, something warm and frightening and entirely new unfurling in her chest despite everything, despite the grief, despite the terror, despite a night that had taken nearly everything she thought she understood about her own life and burned it down to nothing. Then she turned back to the ancient, patient fire watching her from the broken earth, and drew in one long, steadying breath. "I choose to carry it," she said. The moment the words left her mouth, the world exploded into silver

"Don't worry, we are going to save him just relax okay we are in the valley of flowers, the home to the goddess and for her to summon us here means she's got a plan on how to help us," "Are you sure Kira?" I asked her "Yes I'm sure, don't worry, it will all work out," As she was talking, a figure started forming infront of us and in no time the figure turned into the goddess herself, "Luna," Kira said lowering her head and I followed her lead. "My two beautiful children," she said walking towards us she lightly touched my cheek her hands as soft as silk. "How are you?" she asked me "I'm not okay, my mate is dead. I don't know how my family is doing and I need to go back and save my mate and

He deserved his end and I will never be sorry for it. I saw the elders glance between each other and then Silas spoke again. "I see. Well then it makes you an Alpha of Scarlet blood then. A pregnant lycan Luna of River moon and an Alpha to Scarlet blood. You are indeed something special. Nimue has been telling us that all along." "So, does that mean I won't have to go through a trail..?" I asked carefully.

“I am fated by the goddess to be Clay’s mate.” The room froze. “I am the Luna of Silvercrest,” I continued, my voice rising despite myself. “Not by marriage alone. Not by title. By fate.” Selene stared at me as though I had struck her. Clay looked stunned. “Zanny—” “No,” I said, turning fully to him now. “You do not get to silence this. Not anymore. The goddess chose me. She bound our wolves. She marked our union long before ambition twisted your spine straight.”

“Where we eat together, talk like normal people… where I can pretend that my husband actually lives in the same house as me.” My voice became softer near the end. “After that, I’ll sign the divorce papers immediately.” Ethan studied my face for several long seconds. Then he scoffed. “You’re unbelievable.” **** Because I already knew something he refused to believe. According to pack tradition, when a Luna becomes pregnant, the Alpha is supposed to stay by her side for one month so the child can receive the Moon Goddess’s blessing. A child without that blessing is said to be born weak. But Ethan didn’t even believe I was pregnant.

“Respectfully, let us see her, Your Highness,” “I do not recommend that,” Yulo stood up as well and with all authority— made the elder kneel in front of him. “Are you questioning the Goddess’s choice now, Elder Santiago?” “Saint… that was not my intention,” “Then stop trying to get the crowd on your side— do you want them to know what you did to the late king?” Yulo whispered the last part in the hybrid elder’s ears. “We should rejoice, Kingdom of the Lycans! After a thousand years— the Goddess has chosen another Luna to save us from a catastrophe that the higher heavens bestowed!”

The winter wind had teeth. It cut through Silvercrest's courtyard like a blade, carrying the memory of snow and silver blood to those who thought they'd buried their past. Luna stood at the edge of the space, her silver aura flickering faintly around her, a visible reminder that the girl they'd tormented no longer existed.

“But officially, Mother, Father, may I present Miss Katla Iceclaw, my fated mate and betrothed who I will wed under the Full Moon and who will serve Silverburn as Luna as long as the Goddess allows. I request that she be welcomed into the Pack as a full member and daughter, linking her wolf to the ancient generations of wolves that have been born of the tundra.” “Damien Silverburn, Alpha of Silverburn, we accept Katla Iceclaw as Silverburn Luna and your betrothed and fated mate who will become Luna Katla Silverburn under the Full Moon for as long as the Goddess allows. Long may she howl,” as my father spoke these words, my mother, brother, and sister along with those who had assembled on the

The ultimate choice weighed heavily upon us, the fate of the Silverwood and our own intertwined destinies hanging in the balance. "What choice must we make?" I asked, my voice laced with both curiosity and trepidation. Luna's eyes shimmered with ancient wisdom as she revealed the gravity of the decision before us. "You must choose whether to embrace the power of the Silverwood, sacrificing a part of yourselves in the process, or to relinquish the power and protect the delicate balance of nature," she explained, her voice resonating with a somber yet resolute tone.

"I want you to to divorce Kevyra today and you must reveal to every one that I am your soulmate, an Alpha can not find his real mate, loves her and still reject her because he's married to someone who isn't his real mate... Try to geddit, and I am sure your father will also understand that better than you will, he experienced... I don't want to do these things in secret anymore, I want to become Mrs. Lustrow Silvers, I want every one to know that I am a Luna of the Silver pack." I told him while he stared at me with some kind of a disgusted look.
