Luna Wings Of Fire Novels & Stories

Luna asks nervously. "You'll do fine." I reply. "Close your eyes and concentrate." I say softly. Luna slowly holds her hand out in front of her with her palm open as she closes her eyes. "Go back to the first time you remember being able to wield flames. Focus on what triggered you and concentrate." I say coaxingly. Luna takes several long deep breaths then her face twists in anguish as smoke begins to roll off her body. Fire and smoke begin to seethe from her tightly shut eyes as she grits her teeth sharply. Luna's body begins to tremble and her outstretched hand begins to shake.

He says it rejuvenates him, but not today. I always loved Luna’s chamber. The room’s lighting is perfect; it is not so bright, but it is not so dark either. The eastern and northern walls of the room are made of one-way, floor-to-ceiling, thick glass; at least, that’s how it looks from the inside. Luna prefers natural light when she reads her books and enjoys watching the training ground from her chamber. The walls appear like thick brick from the outside, and there is no way an outsider can see through the nonexistent glass. Honestly, I don’t know how they did it. Perhaps it involves magic or state-of-the-art technology; only the goddess knows.

For a heartbeat, the fire *roared*. Flames leapt up, bright and hungry, devouring the bark, reaching greedily for the stray needles and stray twigs scattered nearby. Heat slammed into Luna’s face, searing her lashes, making her eyes water. She jerked her hands back. The ember, now spilled, was no longer hers to direct. The fire found a patch of dry moss and leapt to it. Panic clenched her chest. “Stop!” she gasped. The flames did not obey words.

The Spirit of the Wolves stood tall and calm, but the weight of her rage simmered beneath her serenity. Beside her, Nalia lifted her chin, fire crackling at her fingertips. Her flames surged upward, engulfing her body until she stood as Saelari, radiant and terrifying. Her wings spread wide behind her, burning with the full might of the phoenix lineage. The cavern walls reflected her power, casting the room in flickering hues of gold and scarlet.

Then she was gone. Andrew's wolf whimpered at her departure. Andrew furrowed his brows as Selene's words replayed in his mind. This key was going to be the death of him, he felt certain. Where the hell was he supposed to start seeking from? Selene said to follow his path, he didn't even know what the path was. "Hold on, hold on." He blurted out, with his eyes bulging out. Selene had said, 'They call me Luna…. My mark, the mark of the moon.'

The uproar is so massive and when I think it won’t get any smashing than it is, twin thunderous roars splits the sky and I’m snapping my head up to see my Chimeras gliding in the air and bellowing a firework of different flames. My jaw drops as I watch the incredible display unfolding in the sky. My goodness, I thought they only wielded black, blue, and red flames...and not these many. “Luna Himari” Someone calls out to me and I twist my neck to see the Alphas have gathered around me, and I startle out of my daze, suddenly recalling how to feel shy. As the crowd is being entertained by the firework display, I converse with the Alphas on decisions to move forward.

I explain. “I don’t like it. It’s dangerous for her if she is some wolf out of a legend. I don’t like her being our Luna, either, but it is safer than the thought of her being the Mythic wolf,” Noah grumbles, running his fingers through his already disheveled brunette locs.

"Oh my god! I'm on fire." I spun around to get rid of the flames on my back, but they didn't go away. "Lippy," Dad abruptly stopped me and waved his magic to bring a tall mirror with a gold frame. He grips my shoulders and places me in front of it. "Have a look." Before, I was a woman, a woman with wings of fire. Its flames weren't harming me and were alive. But the only thing I can feel from it is its warmth, like a warm hug behind my back.

And so, together in the fighting pit, they had spent hours trying to create wings of fire and vast explosions of flame. It had taken more than a dozen times of practice, of sweat, tears and creative swearing on Sephora's part before she'd even managed to create a single wing of fire from her back. It was an art, to try and form those wings of fire - and they weren't small wings either. The were great, sweeping wings of red and gold flame that took up the entire Assembly room. The sweat that now dripped down Sephora's back, was not from the heat, but from the concentration it took to keep those wings formed on her back. But with her new lease of power from her reborn soul as the Pheonix, it w

“If you want me to truly forgive you, then let the wolf live.” Nicholas was appalled. Was his Luna crazy? What is she thinking, defending a rogue? Does she know who this lady is?
