ZYRA. About a month ago, I met a guy named Lyle at a club I went to with Ree. He happened to be the owner of L enterprise and also happens to be Lane’s supposed business partner instead of Ward. I was just I don’t know; blank. I didn’t really have much reaction and he seemed to like that. It was a thing I adapted to, to get over Lane and it worked for approximately…since I started it. I also wouldn’t say I liked Lyle or anything of that sort but he wasn’t bad. I could actually see myself giving him a chance if I didn’t have ‘Lane withdrawal’; and, wasn’t ready for another kind of disappointment. The kinds don’t seem to ever finish.

“Thank you for the compliment. I’m Leah. And you must be from the Blackwell clan?” The man stood and reached out a hand to her, which she reluctantly shook. “Yes. I’m Theodore Blackwell. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Leah sat down on the sofa next to her father facing Theo and assessed him. He seemed nice enough, but would he be strong enough in the future to stand by her side when she eventually took over the Sullivan clan. Leah doubted it. The man may be kind of charming, but charm didn’t win fights. If her clan were ever to be attacked in the future, Leah didn’t think she would be able to depend on him to have her back.

There’s also Emery and Leila…” He emphasises the last name, as if to remind me that Flame is using her middle name with the humans. “Have just popped upstairs to get their jackets.” “Here.” Gale places a plate down on the table and pats the chair. Some sort of filled tortilla’s are on the plate and they smell amazing.

After learning that the Elven woman was untouched, I wanted to take her back, but she didn’t agree, so we had a stalemate here. I was about to take her to see the Elven Queen.” Lyle did not dare to hide anything from Ambrose, the heir of one of Leila’s top forces, the Loughty family.
