How can my wolf be special when it is so small? I glance at my alarm clock next to my bed shaking my head. It is almost midnight and still, I cannot fall asleep. My parents were so proud of me today but all I want to do is crawl into a deep dark hole and disappear. Today was my graduation where we receive our ranks. I guess it is different now than when my parents were in school. I guess back then the ranking ceremony meant more than it does now. Your rank was what decided who you could mate and marry with. Now though it just gives you a starting point. Like what jobs you can hold within the pack. Me, I ranked as a Delta. Which is only one rank above an Omega, how depressing.

"All of you students were received in special ways. You just don't remember." "I don't remember anything special happening when I got enrolled." A girl counters as she steps forward. It is for Alpha men and Alpha women to get, and rarely any beta. My mom is the exception to that rule. What did I tell you? badass woman! Those of silver rank: 3/5. Intended for betas. They are the second in command of any pack.
