Mabel And Pacifica Novels & Stories

Just feeling the thickness, Mabel could tell it held a considerable sum. “What’s this?” she asked, startled, trying to give it back. “It’s too much. I can’t accept this.” “Yes, you can. It’s a token of our appreciation. Please, just take it,” Mrs. Perez insisted, pressing the envelope into her hands. “All we ask is a little help.” At first, Mabel was hesitant. “I think it’s better to avoid interfering in someone’s marriage. If Quincy hadn’t married her yet, that’d be different. But they’re already married. I can’t be the one to encourage a divorce.”

“And probably us.” Mercedes cracked her knuckles. “She better not try me.” Maya smiled at her cup. “I like you.” “You better,” Mercedes said. “You invited me.” Back at the du Prée estate, Mabel was on the phone with someone she absolutely shouldn’t have been speaking to. “Natasha, darling,” she said sweetly. “Long time.” There was a pause on the other end. “Mabel,” Natasha replied, voice sharp. “What do you want?”

In the glow of the fire, amidst the soft murmurs of contentment, Mabel realized that sometimes, unexpected friendships and gatherings had the power to bring about beautiful changes, weaving a tapestry of warmth and joy that enveloped them all. ******************* As the weeks passed, Mabel noticed a beautiful transformation within the family dynamics. The bond that had blossomed during the picnic and subsequent gatherings had woven a tapestry of closeness among them all. Jack's initial reluctance to engage in more family activities had faded away, replaced by a genuine eagerness to spend time together. One sunny Saturday, Mabel received a call from Ava, her voice tinged with excitement. " Ma

Dorcas was only staring at me. “So, your amazing Derek, the one you ran away from just to save him, has already moved on and had a child,” Mabel added with a smile. I wasn’t surprised. Mabel doesn’t fancy men. She even rejected her mate. She said her father betrayed Dorcas, and Dorcas survived alone without him, so she’ll also live alone. Dorcas hates it when she says that. “Phoebe… that child is the same age as Liora. She’s four months younger than Liora,” Dorcas said quietly.

“You look like you could use a drink.” The old lady before me commented. I guess she was right. My feelings in the real world had melted into this world. I was more at peace here though. Like I could escape and not feel bad for it. Like I could just not care at all and relax. “Mabel is in London.” Sofia alerted. “She went there to see her fellow witch. One that will help her with the spell.” “Seems she won’t be around for a while.” I huffed. That meant I could breathe for a minute.

I replied calmly. “No! I have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.” she answered too quickly as I continued staring at her silently. The timeline suddenly felt strange in my head. Five years ago, Mabel claimed she was pregnant for James. Then suddenly Dominic entered the picture, now there was Nora. Something about everything felt messy and uncomfortable, but before I could think further, Mabel straightened her shoulders and forced herself to calm down. “I had a miscarriage,” she said coldly after a while, and my brows furrowed slightly.

“Ahh American, there are ways of finding passion without your extensive knowledge. Like Ami and Mabel, I know they are passionate women because of the way they treat their interests in a very passionate way. Take Mabel for instance, when she teaches self-defense to our other staff, she does it with passion. Ami draws with passion as well. Both of them are like my sisters, however. I feel no connection with them besides a brotherly feeling. It is just a puzzle for me why Ali let her go but I can see that Rain might be the answer to Ami’s happiness. I just hope she’ll recognize it soon. How about you Devlin? You seem to be contented being friends with Mabel but when I see the two of you togeth

I blurted out, desperately wanting someone to understand my feelings. Mabel looked at me, a warm expression on her face. Hopefully, she understood me. “Hey my lady, please don’t panic, maybe there’s a good reason for his recent actions and decisions”. What was Mabel doing? Oh, she was trying to be a good girl and comfort her mistress. If not, why would she say there must be a good reason for an Alpha to act strange towards his supposed mate all of a sudden and then send her to the far north of his kingdom.

Alex continued, "You can join us once you've finished handling things in Cresvane." "Okay," Mabel replied. "I'll probably get there about four days after you do. See you in Mythara." After hanging up, she gazed at Gisselle's face. "Mom, let's never come back here again. We'll stay far away, and no one will hurt you." She kissed Gisselle's forehead gently, then left. Mabel drew up a divorce agreement and went straight to Jessie.

“No matter what, I'm not letting you go, okay?” “Enough!” She snapped, taking off my hands in one haul. “You can choose to let go today, tomorrow, or never; I don't care. But I would do you a small favour,” she said, her eyes still blazing golden, as she took one step closer. I stood in place, my eyes fixed on her. My vision had returned to normal, unlike hers. “The Mabel you knew died two years ago, and this Mabel feels absolutely nothing for you. Now, Alpha, leave.”
