Maggie stood at the studio's entrance shouting loudly. The receptionist quickly approached, politely asking, "Miss, whom are you looking for? Do you have an appointment?" Maggie snorted coldly and retorted to the receptionist, "Who are you? Where's Lydia? Get her out!" The receptionist, feeling embarrassed, promptly called Lydia. However, Maggie didn't wait quietly; instead, she continued to shout insults.

Mike exclaimed before turning to me, “I am seeing things, right? Julian, you can tell me.” Maggie stood up with an excited smile on her face, “I am here, Mike. Long time, no see. Ofcourse she thought of going to Rory’s house for company but if she were to be found out to be with him her father would probably disown her. "Maggie, what do you mean?" She hesitated, her fingers digging into her sleeves, eyes darting towards the shadows stretching across the walls. "Since last night, I’ve been hearing things." Her voice was barely above a whisper. "Through the walls. Strange noises, like—like the house itself is crying." She swallowed hard, her throat bobbing with the effort. "I don’t know what’s wrong, but it’s getting worse."

At precisely 10:00 Saturday morning, Maggie heard the buzzer for the front door as she was sliding into her dark blue boot-cut jeans. Right on time. "Come on up," she said into the intercom as she buzzed Bobby in. "I'm almost ready." She crossed to open the apartment door and returned to the bedroom to pull on the pale purple cami and grab her long eggplant cardigan.

Maggie wondered. "Yes, my lady." Karon nodded from the front seat. "It looks like there's no one in the house." She leaned toward the window. "We'll wait here until someone arrives." "Yes, ma'am." Karon nodded again. Mrs. Maggie is nervous but more excited at the thought of meeting her youngest child after so long apart. If she asked Vivian to let her meet Hodja, her daughter would definitely never agree. Mrs. Maggie can only pray that Hodja won't be as hostile to her as Vivian is. That child always has a soft and warm heart.
