Well, at least I finally got something I can do as a mage, right? Water splintered like glistening crystals as I turned and followed the rhythm with precision. I closed my eyes as I continued on my track, there was another smooth splash. Once again, I turned and leaped a little, then faced the audience and opened my eyes. I thought I'd see my expectants watching me in awe. But to my surprise, my line of vision was directed to a pair of unfamiliar pitch black eyes, the darkest shade of black I've ever seen in my whole life.

No! It was then that my eyes landed in front of me. Standing there on trembling legs was Tor. I could see he was fighting with all of his strength to resist my magic. But at Damion's command, I was compelled to listen and I gripped my fists tighter and brought my magic down onto Tor's strong shoulders. I watched in anguish as my mate, a proud and powerful warrior who bowed to no one, dropped to his knees. Tor looked at me with his pleading silver eyes. "My Luna, please come back to me."

His eyes widen slightly, glancing at the bars I’m holding. “Those are spelled by magic…” he murmurs. I simply smile. “I’m a little immune.” He nods before shaking his head. “Yes, from the Djinn. The thing is that the presence of something not from this world residing here for centuries has made this place a beacon for some strange things happening. It pulls evil and darkness to it with ease.” Is there a rift in the veil? Slate gave her a thankful smile and then said, “I won’t need to sleep long.” She returned the smile, and he sank down, rolling onto his side so he was looking away from her. Nya took a deep breath and tried not to stare at his muscular back. Soon, his breathing began to even out, and she knew he was asleep. Pulling her eyes away, she focused on the dancing flames of the fire and wondered if those soldiers of Beelzanborg defending the Heart of Magic had any idea what they were about to face. The flames that danced before her were created by magic, a magic the man sleeping next to her embodied. If he was given the opportunity, he could reduce every single one of the soldiers to the tiny pieces

Dragons have weaknesses too depends on their classes. "Where is the Heart of Magic?" Magenta called her butler Kazam. She's now sitting on her throne with eight months fetus on her swollen belly. She's mean, stone-hearted, and hostile among her people. All of them kneeled before her whenever their Queen walked beside them. She became cruel when her husband got killed by getting the magic heart of Astra. Astra blows up his body with fire coming from her mouth and that made Magenta seek revenge to avenge her husband's death. She plans a brilliant scheme to get inside the Dragon's lair and gain their trust by giving them treasures of their Kingdom but it's only a part of her wicked plan.

Verina cackled again at my Grandma’s attempt at harming her and then lifted her hand as if she would retaliate. I knew then that Grandma’s toss of fire wasn’t meant to hurt Verina. It was meant to jar me out of my stupor. It worked. Before Verina could toss the light she’d summoned at my grandma, I came fully awake. When the light left Verina’s hand, it was met with a larger ball of fire from my own hand. The wicked mage’s power was absorbed by mine, and both lights fizzled out, dissolving in the darkness between us.

They appeared in a strange room where business is done. Dyrus couldn't look at the Dark Djinn's face because his face is covered with a hoodie and his head is in the clouds. Dyer's vision could only reach the Dark Djinn's knee region. "I want to win Ava's love," Dyrus spoke. The Dark Djinn let out a giggle. "Your wish will be granted, but a reward awaits you." Dyrus groaned in pain as he felt a stab of pain in his shoulders. He moaned loudly until he lost consciousness. The Dark Djinn's loud laughter only reverberated in his ear as Dyrus closed his eyes.

I created a spell on the ground, covering the whole battle athe rea and the lights coming from ground is draining their magic. The spell was slowly draining my magic too, ahh… I really hate this spell. “AHHHHHH!!!!!!” the sound mage used all her remaining magic to make a powerful attack, my spell vanished as I cover my ears from the excruciating pain in my ear. The noise was a nuisance. Everyone was covering their ears. But that attack did not last for long as the mage’s power went down the drainage. She was out of energy, her body couldn’t move. the jinn-like creature asked in a guttural voice as it grew in size as tall as a tree, “Then what are you?” Ismail tried to run but the djinn grabbed him, he struggled but was powerless against its hold as it brought him close to its blackened face. “You couldn’t protect your son, instead you turned on him when he needed you,” the djinn mocked him, “You are the weakling,” then swallowed him whole. “Agh!” Ismail jolted awake, back in his bedroom. He turned to his side to see if he had awoken his wife, only to find his side empty.

Maybe it will help him feel normal again. As far as him being half djinn, he does have magic and can grant a wish if he really feels like it. However, djinn are not like genies. They can be sneaky and deceptive. They can lie and be harmful, so you better be careful what you ask for. He also says it depends on the wish. Last night he asked me what I wished for. "What would you wish for Chloe? Out of all the things in the world. Money, clothes, friends, cars... A lifetime supply of candy?" He joked. That little dimple had me blushing like a rose.
