As you go further reading the book. You will notice some terms in the book as the story is going to a whole new level.. Mana ~ A force of nature that mages uses to cast spells. The concentration of ones mana determines the level of spells that can be cast. Low tier 1-3 Mid tier 4 -6 High tier 7- 10 Mage~ Someone who has the ability to cast spells and control the elements of nature having different stages. * Awakened (level 1) a person can become awakened between the age of 13 to 17. An awakened can percieve the worlds mana and control it being able to cast tier 1 spells.
