The crescent moon scar began to hum with a low, vibrating starlight frequency that caused the air inside the subterranean room to grow freezing cold within seconds, crystallizing the condensation on the basalt pillars into tiny silver needles.

The ground beneath the creature’s feet buckled and cracked, throwing it off balance. Cracks spiderwebbed across the floor, splitting the stone and sending fissures shooting outwards. She focused her power, channeling the earth’s energy into a devastating geyser of rock and earth that slammed into the creature, momentarily stunning it.

I rolled my eyes and tugged my feet that were chained against the bedpost, I gathered my hands together and tried to pull it out using my magic. I groaned and tugged it harder but it won't work unless it's in the forest or somewhere that is in nature, my magic only works when we are surrounded around trees. That means that we are maybe in an abandoned warehouse or something close to the city. Rosla doesn't have any abandoned streets thanks to Rhyker's knowledge who made sure that those streets are used in something useful like a garden for plants and nature. The country is ranked up to first in saving nature and ecological systems with magic and high technical standards.
