Veil of Secrets

Veil of Secrets

“Only the ones who make a habit of disappearing into the shadows.” He turned over his shoulder then, and the look he gave me wasn’t quite a glare. It was something quieter. Calculating. “You came back.” “You sound surprised.” “I am.” I didn’t know what to say to that, so I busied myself with unrolling the scrolls and pinning down the corners with river stones. The smell of his magic hung heavy in the air, iron and fire and the stinging scent of something old. “These are old convergence scrolls,” I said, smoothing the parchment with a finger. “Pre-war wardwork. They’re designed to test the magical compatibility between two distinct sources without binding them, useful for experimentation invo

Forbidden Bonds: Secrets of the Alpha's Mate

Forbidden Bonds: Secrets of the Alpha's Mate

But what did that mean for us now? "You need to see this," Selene's voice cut through my thoughts. She laid an ancient scroll before me, its parchment seeming to absorb light rather than reflect it. "I found it in the deepest archives. It speaks of a ritual..." "To restore my cosmic powers," I finished, feeling the latent energy pulsing from the scroll. Something about it felt wrong, like reality itself was recoiling from its presence. Before we could discuss it further, shouting erupted from the main hall. We rushed out to find the pack divided into hostile groups. At the center stood Marcus and several other senior wolves, their faces twisted with fear and determination.

Iridian

The Game Master plucked a scroll from one of the cubes and returned to the table I occupied. A small squeak emerged from my lips when he unrolled the scroll and set it in front of me. It took my brain a few minutes to process the glittering artwork I was looking at, imbued with so much magic that the design shifted and danced on the paper. A full moon hung high, casting silver light down on an empty field. Apart from the grass that grew out of the earth, there was no other vegetation. Barren of trees and fruit, streams and lakes, the moon watched overall.

Such a well written book and the story really drags you in, I’ve enjoyed reading this so much and hope a sequel comes out. I really feel this book should be printed, I’d read it over and over again. The book is long but it’s well worth it.

The author has a fantastic ability to keep me on the edge of my seat and a great ability to describe the scenery around the characters. I find the characters to be mostly well defined and consistent throughout the book. There are some typos and incorrect grammar, but not enough to disturb me complet

The Lycan King and the Feral Twin

Mitne I will ignore the steps for now. I am curious to learn how this moon magic works. There has to be something here about that since the scroll I just read made the stairs appear with the beautiful door. I took a deep breath and my hands picked up another scroll. I took a deep breath and rolled the scroll open. What luck, it is the next chapter to the one I was just reading. Chapter 15: The Lycan's Luminous Revelation

The love between two worlds: Mated to a Human

The love between two worlds: Mated to a Human

Liam has got me the best warriors that we have, and although I will be the only one taking the risk of harvesting the sap but, knowing that I have these guys on my side will make me more a little bit faster, which means the quicker I will be to harvest the sap the sooner we get to be with our mate. I take a deep breath, holding the scroll tightly in my hand; what is it? I hear you ask. Well, this little magic scroll contains the coordinates for the magic circle that lies hidden deep inside the werewolf world and without it, there's no sure way of finding our way back to the human world. I open the scroll as I stand inside the circle and wait for the magic to happen I smile Seeing the coordin

He then asked Cassy, "Are you sure about this Cassy?" She nodded and bent down to pick up a pebble which she threw through the invisible barrier, and as the pebble passed through it, disappearing from their view, Adrian exclaimed, "Holy shit, it's not a force field or the rock would have been thrown somewhere else or disintegrated, it's just some kind of illusion set up to prevent us from seeing what's on the other side." Steven looked at him and asked, "Is it safe to walk through this illusion wall?" Adrian frowned and said to them, "It's strange that there is an illusion wall here, it can only be created by mages who possess the purple flame and you know very well that they are extremely

Hidden Magic

I need a little help here. The map glows for a moment, points toward the bed, and then goes blank again. I walk over to the bed. I pull back the covers and look under the pillows, but nothing. I go to my knees and look under the bed. Beneath the bed, I see a dark brown and black amulet shining at me, waiting for me to take it home. There is also a set of eyeballs looking at me.

LUNAR BONDS

LUNAR BONDS

The air was heavy with mystique and whispers of forgotten tales. Leo's eyes widened in awe as he examined an ornate scroll resting on a pedestal, its delicate script shimmering with hidden enchantments. "This scroll... it holds the knowledge of the Veritas Reliquary," he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement. Amelia's heart quickened at the revelation. This was the moment they had been waiting for—the chance to uncover the truth and liberate the Magus from the grip of darkness. She carefully unrolled the scroll, her eyes scanning the arcane symbols and encrypted messages.

The Almighty Dragon General

Each intersection of the lines had a bright star placed over it. All of this gave the chessboard a powerful aura. Then, James conjured the Zirconia Path Scroll, which expanded and elongated to surround the Xwem Chessboard. The scroll formed a wall of black, white, and purplish-gold energies around the chessboard. James repeated the process to enhance the Zirconia Path Scroll’s powers and reinforce the strength of his formation’s barrier. Just as the Zirconia Path Scroll’s powers were almost filled up, a loud voice came from inside the Historial Palace.

This end is terrible. I strongly believe there is a volume 2 or part 2. I refuse to be left hanging and thinking of a million ways the whole thing played out. Patiently waiting for volume 2............

 The Luna He Lost

The Luna He Lost

he murmured beside me, one hand inching toward the dagger at his hip. Lira was already moving, whispering something to the ward-witches behind us. The raven didn’t caw. It simply waited. Then it opened its beak—and something fell. A scroll. Bound in red wax stamped with the symbol every wolf in that clearing recognized: The High Council’s seal. I stepped forward before anyone else could. My fingers trembled only slightly as I picked up the scroll. The wax cracked, dry and sharp, as I peeled it open and read.
