The first method, the 'first key' or the 'creation' key— is through 'chanting' and 'reciting' the keywords of the magic spell in some specific languages. Since the language that we typically communicate with is considered a safe verbal language (or language that is too weak to activate any magic spells verbally), it is necessary to learn the unsafe verbal language (or language that could activate magic spells that could harm others verbally). Then magic spells could be easily cast by simply reciting and chanting the keywords in the right tone and rhythm and with the right amount of mana manipulation.

Rarer cases can use magic at sixteen. The magic types in this world are water, fire, air, earth, light, and darkness. The strongest magic is darkness but it is also the most dangerous one since it can corrupt the user if they are not careful enough. Light magic is something that people can use but not a lot. When someone does have light magic they are usually seen as some form of luck bringer or whatever bullshit some religious asshole tells everyone.
