Maria murmured, her eyes wide with disbelief and admiration. Well, at first, when she heard that it was Liam that Solace was going to be with, she was worried. It was because she knows what kind of work Liam has, as she has that kind of work as well. Her friend, she's kind and innocent. She doesn't want her to be corrupt like she and Liam are. However, when everything went out of control, the moment she noticed everything, the two of them finally made it official. What else could she do? At least now, he's taking good care of Sherly and her family.

Grabbing my phone, I text Liam, hoping nothing bad has happened. His reply tells me she is in labour, but everything is fine and not to worry. There is still stuff to get sorted. Rushing around, I try to get everything sorted for her, ready for when she gets home. The sound of my phone ringing has me stopping. I look at the name confused. Why is my commander calling me? “Hello.” My word quiet. Why is he calling me? “Marcus, this is going to sound crazy, but get to the airport now, gate 15. You need to get someone home.” His words confuse me. Who am I meeting?

It's only the second day of the camp and there are three more days to end this torture. Why would mom even agree to host it here this time? I thought frustratingly as I raked a hand through my hair. Few of my pack members have found their mates and I am glad for them. It was on the third day, I decided to go on my much-needed run. I left early in the morning with Nicholas and Saxon, so we don't have to run into any horny she-wolf.
