I think of what to do, fast.
The fence is small, I could just jump in.
But then I heard a voice behind me.
I spin.
A lady greets me with a curious look. “Hi, looking for someone?”
I turn, impatient. “Yes. Tamara.”
A look of confusion mars her forehead.
I pull my phone out. “Have you by any chance seen this lady?”
Her brows rose. “That’s Rissa,” she says with a soft smile. “I'm Maria, her neighbor, and oh she texted me about having a guest over and won't be available till tomorrow,”
