He said it with a laugh, like a normal comment and I know I would hear it often, but it made me feel a little uncomfortable and I didn't know exactly why.
"Did you see?" asked (almost shouted) little Mark when he sat down on one of the high chairs, pointing to the big white box his dad was taking out of a transparent plastic bag. "Tequeños, cakes, mandocas, cheese and two sauces." He looked at me and gestured with his hands. "The same as always."
Carl and I burst out laughing.
"Why did you say that? Mark?" his dad asked.
"You always bring that, Daddy. Always."
