All the Feels
All the feels take away my breath,
When funerals approach and force me to face death,
I think of the heavens parting like glass,
Hoping her last days have come at last,
The grim reaper is a soul deliverer taking souls away,
If he walks too far into the depths, the souls will try to stay,
There lies a place between the living and the dead,
That's where I want to meet her as I sleep in bed,
In the land of half-asleep, I am half-awake,
With my eyes half crying, I feel my heartbreak,
The land of half-asleep is where I say, "Goodbye, Mom,"
I wake with my eyes both red. It's time to move on,
The place where all the feels spin inside my head,
And only on angel wings can I rise from my bed.
