I ask, raising a distrusting brow. "Who are you, and what pack are you from?" "My name is Mateo, from the Gemini Moon Pack. Leo and I have been friends for a while. Despite my heavy protests, he spends every minute talking about you. Which is why I know too much." "If you're from the Gemini Moon pack, you're a long way from home. Why are you in enemy territory?"

Lillie whispers encouragingly into her mates ear; her words riddled with mischief, spoken loud enough for us to all hear causing Mato to groan in defeat. “Where is he, Mato?” Dakota orders once more. “He’s… he’s in the garden. Just don’t go doing anything stupid. The Boss is already in a bad mood. I’d kind of prefer it if we didn’t make it any worse,” Mato glumly confesses. “Sure,” she blankly agrees, paying his warning no attention.

Everything was finally moving in a good direction, and life was back on track. On my birthday, Milo kneeled before me and asked, "Healer Megan, will you be my Luna?" I nodded and agreed, "I will." Jerry came over with a smile, holding the ring. Milo took it and placed it on my ring finger. With the pack as our witness, the man who truly loved me became my mate.

THIRD PERSON’S POV The air in the room felt… wrong. Heavy. Alive. Ryan didn’t move from where he stood, but every instinct in him screamed to subdue what stood before him...but he couldn't get himself to lay a finger on Ethan.
