Max In The Secret Life Of Pets Mga Nobela at Kwento

Lily smiled, patting the boy's head lightly: "You're still young, don't think nonsense." Venn patted his head: “For the human world, I'm young, but the wolf world is different. I'm 18 years old already. Also considered mature.” "18 years old?" Lily stared at the boy who was just as tall as her shoulder. "Yes." Ven nodded. "I don't believe it. You're eighteen, so how old is Prince Elias?" Emily was dumbfounded. Did she fall in love with an old man? Venn put his hand on his chin thinking, "Probably only 100 years old."

No sound at all. “Please… Please don’t hurt me.” I was moving slowly now because it was stalking me, following me step for step, its unblinking eyes fixed on mine. And I couldn’t turn away. But I knew I had to get out. It wasn’t until we were all the way out in the living room that there was enough light for me to see the shaggy form of a dog. A massive dog. It had to be four feet tall at the shoulder, and thick and broad across the shoulders. Its feet were probably as big as mine.

“They’ve got powerful protection of their own. Nothing will happen to them, or to me.” I felt my body begin to warm all over, and when I looked down at my hand, I was casting a soft purple glow. Seeing this, the guys stepped aside and allowed me to move up to Max. At this point, his chest was barely moving at all. He probably had less than a minute of life left in him. I sat on the ground and placed his huge head on my lap. His muzzle was right next to my belly, but I knew my babies were safe. I stroked his head and watched his rib cage make one final rise and fall before it stopped for good.

Max said, pretending to be disappointed. The front door opened again, and Wren and Izzy came in. Izzy instantly went to the living room, where Cat was petting Crook. She sat on the other side of the dog so she could pet him, too. Wren looked into the kitchen and shook his head at the sight of Max standing next to Lindsay. “Darn it! I knew one day he would find out about us. You know this means we have to make him disappear, right?” Max said to Lindsay loud enough to ensure that Wren heard what he said.

“You're never going to believe it!” My frown deepened. “What's happening?” “Max has completely gone nuts! He went out with Finn about an hour ago and came back with a brand new red Porsche, fitted with a car seat for Finn at the back seat. It's such a beautiful car.” I shook my head, hardly believing it. “Is this some sort of joke?” “I wish it was a joke too, but it's fucking real. He told Finn that instead of going on walks, he could take him on long, soothing rides round the city and they'd get to see a lot of interesting places.”

*** Rae After dinner filled with delicious lobster and tension, Max sighs heavily as he sets his beer bottle down. "All right, let's get to know each other," he starts, his focus on the beer. "What was your first pet," he asks. "Never had one," I answer. "No shit? No wonder you're taking pictures of stranger's dogs," he chuckles. I roll my eyes but he's right. My mother didn't have time for a puppy, and Quinn hates dogs. "What about you?" I ask. "I had a pet lizard name Boba," he smirks, as if he's remembering his pet like it was yesterday.

"Scoundrels and wretches, they will all get what they deserve!" I chuckled and deleted the relevant conversation records, keeping only some casual chat. For example, I mentioned how her dog, Big Boss, demanded three cans of tuna every day at the pet store, and how he still flirted with other people's kittens even though spring had long passed! Thinking that I had truly forgiven him, Max wanted to move back from the study to the master bedroom that very night. I knew I couldn't avoid this. The idea of sharing a bed with someone like him made my skin crawl.

It was not my place. Silence pulled tight. A car honked outside. The house settled. “I can help if you want a different view,” I said. “No promises.” Zane shook his head. “You will not get it. This is Alpha stupid.” I frowned at him. “Try me.” He lifted a brow. “Fine. Max found his mate. Took her home. She met two of his past choices. They were not wearing clothes. That is the start Max gave his mate.” I stared again. Words came slow. “Right. Heard you the first time. Still bad.”

Max stared at me for a long, wary moment, his frown deepening as he tried to find a lie in my expression. Then he leaned back and barked an order to his Beta. “Fine. If he's so eager for this farce, let the Caelin dog in!”
