But the second I heard the distinct scrape of a cane on tile, I smiled. Mayor Alderick. He was a tall and wiry old man with an age-weathered face and a presence that turned even the noisiest room into a respectful hush. And he wasn’t just any Other—he was a Seer. The last of his kind in our region. He was the Mayor of Black Creekside town.

The Mayor stepped closer to Spencer, who could already smell the older man's nasty sour breath when he asked, "and me? Do you find me attractive? Spencer looked at the man. She didn't find him beautiful at all. His teeth were all yellow and he was short and his body shape was not attractive at all. He had a nose shaped like the one on a pig. And on his head was some ridiculous curly white powdered wig. She thought about the consequences of her answer. Insulting the Mayor. But she didn't want to be a hypocrite in front of Kristof. "No," she then answered. Just like that, out loud. All eyes went wide, including Kristof's. The Mayor’s men were gasping. How could this young lady be disrespectful

When we walked in, we were met with seven faces. A man stands and steps toward us, “Welcome! I’m Mayor Steven Hickston.”

'' An elderly man walked up to Xander saying, the man looked so familiar, but I couldn't remember where exactly I knew him from. '' Mayor, you know I hate these kinds of things. But, I decided to attend this one. So I hope I will not regret it,'' Xander said, shaking the man's hand. '' Yes, he is the mayor of the city,'' I recalled to myself. '' And I can see that you did not come here alone. It is the first time we have seen you with a woman by your side, and she is beautiful,'' The mayor said, and Xander smiled so proudly.

Straightening my posture, I answered the call. “Hello, Mr. Clark. How can I help you this time?” The mayor's deep voice resonated through the line, carrying a tone of irritation. "Noel, the information is disturbing. I received an image of a werewolf attacking a human. This goes against the agreement, and I can't accept something like this happening in the city."

Angelus and Theo alongside Sia, Jasper, Ted, Trevor, Alaric, Daniel, Richard, Peter, Paul, Joseph, Morgan, Stanley, and Scott walked inside the Office and shut the Office door on their way in. "Good day, Sir!! Angelus greeted the Mayor respectfully as soon as she got inside the Mayor's Office. "Good day, Miss!! I'm Mayor Bennard Garcia." Mayor Bennard greeted Angelus warmly while introducing himself just in case Angelus doesn't know about him.

This Mayor was really weird. "This mall is mine; I own this mall you are standing in." His expression changed, and it was replaced by seriousness. "Ah, is that so?" She suddenly scratched her head. "Sorry, I don't know," she continued. "You don't know anything. Even if you're being lied in front of your face, you still don't know anything." What the fck is wrong with Mayor? Is he on drugs? Whatever he's saying is stupid. If only he wasn't old, Dahlia would have walked out on him. He's crazy.

"Actually Mayor Hertz, they are looking for their son Carlos." The mayor frowned, "Carlos? I haven't heard of any Carlos" he looked at the man "are you sure he is here sir?" "Who are you?" The man asked. "I'm Tobias Hertz, the mayor. Who are you?" The man smiled but he didn't answer, "are you sure there is no stranger amongst you? My informant has never been wrong."

"Heh!" Seeing the mayor pretending to apologize, Darryl laughed to himself and said unbothered, "Mayor, fret not. You're innocent. Let's just put this behind us." The mayor felt relieved to hear that and quickly nodded. "Mister, you're indeed a kind person." Then, the mayor said pretentiously, "But, come to think of it, those subordinates were obnoxious, and they almost ruined a great plan. I must punish them severely."
