“What? Mayor Synder’s driver?” Violet covered her face and stared at Hamlin blankly; Jill did the same with a pale look. The mayor of Riverbank, Kent Synder, was a prominent figure, someone they could not even reach. They could not even afford to mess with the driver of the mayor, yet they mocked him as a paid actor hired by Kaze just to aggrandize him. They mocked not only Hamlin but Kent, the mayor, which was a dangerous act. Both Violet and Jill looked at Kaze in disbelief, unable to wrap their heads around the situation.

Beside him is an elderly couple and a woman. The first thing I notice is the distinctive brooch pin on the woman's dress, before my eyes trail up to her bob cut. “My child,” Grampa Eugene says brightly. “I’d like you to meet Mr Harrison, our beloved Mayor Harrison Kruger,” he says, standing aside for me to see them. My eyes widen, the Mayor himself!? I didn't even recognize him, seeing him so close. “You must be Elodie,” Mayor Harrison says, extending his hand for a shake. I'm taken aback, he knows my name??

This Mayor was really weird. "This mall is mine; I own this mall you are standing in." His expression changed, and it was replaced by seriousness. "Ah, is that so?" She suddenly scratched her head. "Sorry, I don't know," she continued. "You don't know anything. Even if you're being lied in front of your face, you still don't know anything." What the fck is wrong with Mayor? Is he on drugs? Whatever he's saying is stupid. If only he wasn't old, Dahlia would have walked out on him. He's crazy.

The mayor's eyes widened as he stared at his children, he pointed to the laptop "What is the meaning of this Liam?" Liam's face remained indifferent "Pick up your phone and call the city council concerning your resignation! or else your children gets fried like a chicken!" The mayor's hands shakingly reached for his phone, he tapped his hands on his phone for a while and brought his shaky hands to his ear. "I'm calling to inform you about my resignation from my current post as the mayor" Liam smiled I'm victory and rose up to his feet. "Liam let them go now... they will get hurt so badly!" the mayor yelled out as he watched the ongoing clip which showed Fred and Allison crying out...

He stared at me, waiting for my answer. I swallowed hard, unable to meet his gaze. How many humans had he consumed? The thought made me shudder. His laughter only added to my discomfort, as if he found something amusing in my reaction. "Goodness, you're quick to jump to conclusions, aren't you? Do I look like a rogue to you? The mayor doesn't feast on his own people. If that were true, this town would be littered with missing persons," he remarked, a hint of amusement in his tone. "Though there are some humans who indulge in such acts."

……… The next afternoon, I was restocking the top shelf liquor behind the bar when the bell above the door jingled. Only a few people came in this early, mostly regulars. But the second I heard the distinct scrape of a cane on tile, I smiled. Mayor Alderick. He was a tall and wiry old man with an age-weathered face and a presence that turned even the noisiest room into a respectful hush. And he wasn’t just any Other—he was a Seer. The last of his kind in our region. He was the Mayor of Black Creekside town.

She didn't want to get herself scolded or use her mind-control powers on the Mayor. "Come in." A man ordered from inside the Office sternly. Angelus and Theo alongside Sia, Jasper, Ted, Trevor, Alaric, Daniel, Richard, Peter, Paul, Joseph, Morgan, Stanley, and Scott walked inside the Office and shut the Office door on their way in. "Good day, Sir!! Angelus greeted the Mayor respectfully as soon as she got inside the Mayor's Office. "Good day, Miss!! I'm Mayor Bennard Garcia." Mayor Bennard greeted Angelus warmly while introducing himself just in case Angelus doesn't know about him.

"Actually Mayor Hertz, they are looking for their son Carlos." The mayor frowned, "Carlos? I haven't heard of any Carlos" he looked at the man "are you sure he is here sir?" "Who are you?" The man asked. "I'm Tobias Hertz, the mayor. Who are you?" The man smiled but he didn't answer, "are you sure there is no stranger amongst you? My informant has never been wrong."

Roman… He looks back at me with absolutely no readable expression whatsoever. “The new mayor.”
