I didn’t find him but found Flora going upstairs with her two best friends. “Hey Amy, Nicole, ” I said smiling at them while they gleamed. “Glad to have you back. When do you leave? Perhaps you could join our YouTube video today?” Amy asked wearing a small smile. Her huge, cute sky blue eyes were enough for one to stop whatever she was doing to be around her, but then I had to go. I smiled back at her and moved forward to touch her curly brown hair. “I don’t think I’ll be staying that long. But I’d make it up to you.”

On the other side of the city, in New York, Mia sat in her apartment, flipping through an old photo album filled with pictures of her and Lily. She had spent a significant amount of time with Lily, and despite her best efforts, she couldn't shake off the memories of her dear friend. I also didn't reply, I never gave her that satisfaction. “Anyways, Noah is lucky to have a friend like you who can always show up for him at every inconvenience. You must really care a lot about him,” she added and that was it. I set the phone down on the bed, my jaw clenched together.

Nico's point of view “ You're what now?” I asked, certain that I had heard wrong. Perhaps all the sleep was finally getting to me by tampering with my hearing, but as her next words confirmed,I did hear her right. “ You need a friend,” she announced, staring me in the eye. “ And I've appointed myself to that position,” she added. “First of all I don't need a friend, I don't want a friend either, infact I'm in no way interested in any form of friendship.”
