A delicate curtain separated the bedroom from the inner hall. As Carissa parted the beaded curtain, the soft sound of pearls clinking together echoed in the quiet room. People said a small room helped preserve energy. For the elderly, the room shouldn't be too spacious, as it could cause the life force to scatter and harm their health. Thus, the room was modest in size, with a carved cherrywood bed positioned to the east and a low couch to the south. A small wardrobe stood nearby, though Carissa had already noticed another wardrobe in the inner hall, suggesting that this one had been specially added.

She carefully picked them up and made her way through a wooden door to the right, behind the sofa and just beside the kitchen. The room was small just like every other thing in the house, painted a mid temperature coral and cream. There was a small desk by the corner of the room, where another door stood. Her tiny bed sat authoritatively in the centre of the room, with a small dresser at the head of the bed and the desk to its right. The ceilings hung low, a small bulb attached to its centre. The bulb however was screwed on loosely to stop it from electrical short circuiting, seeing as the ceilings were occasionally drenched by the summer rain.

It was a mouth-watering scent that nearly made my stomach cave in from hunger. We must have been near the kitchen. Pushing open a door at the far end of the room, was a smaller room. It was a plain room with no windows; there wasn’t much for decorations. The floors were made of rustic hardwood and the walls were painted a beige color. There was a small bed on one side of the room with a nightstand that held a candlewick lamp. There were a couple of wooden dressers and a vanity.

He takes his bag and places the documents he brings on the only study table. I, on the other hand, look around the room. On the far left, there is only a king-size bed with a divan at the foot of it. There is also a dining table and chairs on the far right. Somewhere in the middle is the fireplace with a carpet in front of it. There are some seat pillows surrounding it. Maybe, I can use that area for sleep. When Theo is already working on some documents, I open the same dresser to put my clothes on.

It seemed that my expression was too panicky, he reached out his hand to pat my head: - Come on, stay in my room tonight. I'll take you to a new room tomorrow, okay? Thang took me to his small room. The cozy space calms me down a bit. The area is quite small, but the arrangement is very reasonable and tidy. In the middle is a large window with two tiny flower pots hanging; on the left is a single bed with polka dots; On the right is a study table close to the wardrobe, high above the table is a small two-tiered bookshelf filled with books and notebooks, the outermost has a flower-brick pedestal for the kitchen space.

I peer closer. .... A fridge and a wine rack.... All the home comforts.... The chamber is dull and dark just now, but niches and sconces hold candles and lamps by the score. The lighting in here will be perfect when it's needed. And James has outdone me in one area.... A door, neatly to one side of the four-poster, leads to a small side-room. Inside, it contains not much more than another enormous bed and a couple of chairs and side drawers, but....

“It’s the biggest.” There were screens dividing the room into two, and a single bed set to either side. Each bed had under-bed storage drawers, as well as open hanging space. There was a desk on each side, and a mirror. “It’s great,” Aislen said, insincerely. It was tiny and sharing with a stranger, with only the most basic of screening between them. But she told herself, it was what it was, and she would have to work with it. “Where are the bathrooms?”

The nightstands were made of wood and had a small drawer and a shelf. The room had a small fireplace in one corner, which was used during the colder months to keep the room warm. Above the fireplace was a small mantlepiece, where the maids could display their personal items. There were a few pictures, some ornaments, and a vase with some flowers on the mantlepiece.

To be in his arms. Ugh no! I sighed. I had to distract myself by snooping around in his room or I'd be having less decent thoughts about my male classmate. The room was really small. Even my bathroom was bigger. The walls were painted an off-white colour. A wooden desk was sitting in a corner with a laptop on it. There was a small shelf filled with books. The floor was made of wood and the bed was quite small but soft. It could contain at least two people. Then a ceiling fan. That was it. No decorations. Nothing. Just plain.

Elara began patiently, "is designed for two kids. It serves dual purposes—a study area and a space for video games or recreational activities. While the space is compact, the design optimizes it efficiently to balance both privacy and functionality." She pointed to the dividing line that split the room into two distinct sections. "Look here. This dividing partition ensures privacy. Each child gets their own designated space, preventing distractions while studying. It's not a full wall—it’s more like a functional divider. This way, light and air circulate freely while still offering a sense of separation."
