Meja Kecil Untuk Kamar Novels & Stories

Well, since I’m here, I might as well explore my new digs. I open the right door and it’s a bedroom. The curtains are a creamy light peach color with sheer covering to let light in, but not let anyone see inside. There is a small sitting area with a cozy, plush chair, and ottoman. It’s cream with flowers in the same light peach color as the curtains. Draped over the chair is a wine-colored throw, bringing contrast to the otherwise serene color scheme. There’s a small table, perfect for a cup of tea and a book. It looks like it’s made of black walnut and a marble top. The bed looks like a king size bed. I’ve never slept in a bed that big. There are a bunch of pillows on the bed and the bedspr

And it was only late afternoon that she found this address. After Mrs. Lily left, Meikha then closed her bedroom door and immediately saw the contents of her room. There is only one bed with a single bed. One small wardrobe and one table with a table fan on it. Not bad enough. And for the bathroom, indeed the bathroom for this type of student boarding room must be shared and together.

A medium-sized chandelier hovered at the center of the white ceiling, making the space quite classy. I unlocked my bedroom door and walked in, inhaling the familiar fragrance of the fresh rose and jasmine flowers on the coffee table at the corner of my room. Quickly undressing, I hurried to my adjoining bathroom to take a shower. The bathroom was small but more than functional. It had a medium-sized Jacuzzi with a shower stall, a two-seater bucket sofa chair in a corner with a single wooden stool at the side. A vanity mirror hung on the left wall, and both the wall and floor were covered with white marble with gray streaks. A white plush area rug was at the center of the room and neatly fold

The room gave me cabin vibes because of the types of furniture and all were made of wooden materials; the floorings were done with Parquet flooring, formed from short wooden blocks or strips arranged into a geometric pattern while the walls were covered with Rio wood. There was a wooden bunk bed at the left corner of the room and a small bedside table which was the only non-wooden furniture in the whole room. A door was just beside it which turned out to be the bathroom. Then, there were two wooden study desks with a small lamp on each and there was a small-but-enough-for-two attached closet on the right wall. One of the study desks was placed beside the entrance door on the left while the o

There was a large couch positioned in the mini-sitting room with a TV set and home player. A huge ball-like chandelier was placed in the vaulted ceiling. The tiles on the floor and the walls are painted red with shades of white too. I drag my feet to move around and see the apartment fully. The small kitchen was sparkly clean and organized, and there were already all the necessary kitchen utensils. Moving to the bedroom that was located a few meters from the kitchen, I stepped in and saw a student-size bed, a wooden dressing table, a mini shelf, and an empty medium closet.

Kit imagined there must be more than one chamber here with so many keys and a guard watching an empty door, but when the heavy wooden barrier swung open, there was just one small room. It had been recently cleaned. A small cot sat in one corner, the linens fresh. Clean water sat in a basin on a small table, and there was a chair, as well as a bookcase with a few volumes. Across the room, a curtain was hung over what she assumed was the privy. Two narrow windows let in a bit of light. Neither had curtains. The floor was stone with a small rug over by the bed. An armoire stood near one of the windows, the doors askew, nothing in it.

I used one of them for my study, a small living room with a couch and two-seater chairs, a kitchen close to the living room with an adjacent door. The bathroom was at the end of the two rooms in the small hallway.

She disappeared again in another door beside the one she came out with. He looked around the bedroom. The queen sized bed is at the center of the room and it has wooden side cabinets. At the bottom side of the bed is a small couch. There is a flat screened tv just across it. On the left side of the room is what seemed to be a working table. There are books neatly arranged. On the right side on the other hand are two more doors. The one is for a mini walk in closet which he had a chance to peek when she entered it a while ago. The other door is the bathroom, where she is still in. In a typical family, this is supposed to be the master’s bedroom.

It was pretty dark inside with very little ventilation. But one thing was impressive that although being a small place it was spic and span with a small sitting on one corner of the room and a small TV attached to the wall. The center table was a very small one made of wood and a vase kept on the top, an old traditional vase that was chipped from one side but that part was hidden with the flower that was purposely bent to cover it. There was a small open kitchen on one corner of the room with complete facilities for minimal living.

For Mat and Cedric we found a breakfast nook style table and chairs that would comfortably fit the two of them for those days they wanted to have a quieter meal alone. A couple sets of tall shelves in matching color schemes were also located and added for each couple. It was about this time that Kami, Brandon and Ian rejoined us, with a couple carts of bed sheets, towels, basic kitchen supplies for Faith and Jake, pillows, etc. to cover both locations. “I think we have all the basics.” Kami grinned, proud of herself and her shopping skills. “Thanks Kami. I appreciate not having to stress about the smaller details and worrying I forgot something. My knowledge of what is considered basic is a
