Scaly hands with long fingernails that had hues of iridescence and just like his tail glittered a different color at a slight change in light reflection. Scaly yet pointy ears that faced backward, pupils that had turned iridescent with a green border surrounding them, and lastly- flowing black hair, which had gotten darker than usual and so long that its length was unknown. “You couldn’t have seen that coming?” Merlos huffs as we all get to our feet, shaking off the mud and water. Merlos waves her hands returning her dress and hair to their pristine state. “What do you say we do this in style?” With a confident smirk on her face, Morrtemis steps forward as her deep, cocoa skin slowly turns into a violet crystal-like substance. The crystals continue to spread, replacing her hair and clothes until there’s nothing left but walking amethyst.

Codrus eyed my hair and I remembered something. “Is it because of my hair? You think I am a long-lost member of Xerxes because of this?
