Alice dove in, desperately trying to pry Odette from the mermaid's grasp, but the mermaid only laughed. “You cannot bring back the past… you cannot bring back the past…” she taunted as she swam further down, pulling Odette along. Alice gasped for air, realizing she couldn't breathe underwater. Once she sang, the rest of the mermaids followed her lead until all I could hear was their singing. The emerald-green mermaid’s voice was so enchanting and hypnotizing that I felt drawn to her. She stretched out her hand to me as she kept smiling and singing. My body moved involuntarily to her. I felt Witch Lily’s grip tighten around my wrist, but I shook it off. I wanted to go to the mermaid. I wanted to be with her.

I whisper as I bring my hand down from holding my head and covering my ears. “You have to wake up!” Elsa's voice persists. “Damian, don't let her control you!” I hear Elsa scream, and I fall to the floor. “You will never leave,” Merida's haunting voice sings to my ear. “You're trapped forever…half-breed…” Merida cackles and I start to remember how I got here. Screw you, Merida. I'll get you for this. I grit my teeth, my mind fighting the witch's spell. The surrounding starts to shake, and everything seems to fall like sand, removing the illusion.
