The Breaking Point of Love
Beck hesitated for a moment before saying, "Sorry, just now I—"
He hadn't finished speaking but Celeste already knew what he was apologizing for.
She smiled faintly and replied, "It's fine. Besides, what you said was true."
She had experienced it firsthand, and she knew very well that love truly couldn't be forced. Now, she was able to accept that truth with peace of mind.
And perhaps Beck had sensed that, which was why he had said it so plainly.
That was exactly Beck's intention.
