Merlin: Knights Novels & Stories

He said he would always be there to help me or any maiden in distress that I might happen to hear about, and that if I liked I could come along with him on some of his adventures. Well, you can imagine how I felt about that! I couldn't wait! I said I wanted to go and have an adventure right away, and we did! We went to Camelot first and he showed me the castle and the moat and the drawbridge and the round table, and I met Merlin and Guinevere and Sir Galahad and I watched them practising sword-fighting and jousting and having feasts, and Sir Lancelot introduced me to some of the maidens in distress that he had rescued. They had all fallen in love with him of course and would never leave him,

Diana noticed my struggle and frowned as she examined the knights. “They have carvings of glyphs on their swords. They’re imbued with magic! If you keep this up, your shield will break, and they’ll get to us. We need to attack!” Her words were all I needed to hear. I summoned all my energy and blasted every one of the knights with a massive wave of magic. The force of the blast sent them flying against the wall, effectively neutralizing them.

With his tall slender body, gangly arms and brown chocolate eyes he looked like the boy next door. He had a bag along with him which meant he was definitely staying for a few days. I motioned towards the other demons to carry out the bag. Two of them rushed to take the bag from his hand. I was still amazed that he did not bring his commander. Most of the Kings are scarred for life and have someone along with them for protection. The attacks on Kings are brutal and unpredictable. Must be because he was travelling from his own portal. Spreading my arms I patted on his back.

Even Miranda was stunned, before smiling broadly, then turning to the Southern Palace. “Speaking of the Silverwall Knights…they're already here.” The next second the front of the castle's fort was shattered into pieces, followed by the appearance of thousands of knights in iron armor and their respective gallant horses. They were armed with shields and long swords. Among the knights of Silverwall, there was a Dwarf and an Elf under Louise whose bodies were covered in dust. One of the knights in the front row suffered the same fate, his golden hair was covered in white powder, his armor was foggy. However, the knight was not scratched in the slightest.

"I mean, why would the Romanos adopt a massacre survivor?" Like what the two had said, Giovanni and Liliana were known as the pair who ran Combattere L'Academia one of the best if not only Assassin Academy in Europe. And despite running operations in the shadows, said academy was registered in the government as a private school for handpicked individuals.

Kael remained quiet after what the knight said. “I once served him. To be honest, I hated King Muradin more than him.” The grand knight said. “Then why are you doing this? You could just help me kill him.” Kael grunted. Grand Knight Bryle laughed and said, “He’s my king now, kid. And I was given orders. A knight is loyal to the crown.” The banner man suddenly turned to the grand knight. “It’s only one mile now towards Casterfall, sir. Soon, we will be entering the dark woods.”

The royal crest blazing on her breastplate. His attention moved on, but not before she saw something that might have been a smirk beneath his helm. Arrogant bastard. "The knights of Camelot are here, my lady!" Lancelot appeared at her side, breathing hard, blood streaming from a cut above his eye. They fell into their back-to-back formation automatically, moving in the deadly dance they'd perfected over years. "Your father must have sent word to them!" "Damn that old man." Adrienne blocked an overhead strike, twisted, brought her elbow up into her attacker's face. Bone crunched. She followed through with her blade, and he crumpled. "I don't need a knight in shining armor to save me."

Nelson took a slow drag from his pipe and said, "Kid, I just asked around but didn't expect a crowd. They all came to help, not asking for a dime." I gestured to the planks behind me, "Just turn them into some makeshift bows and arrows, that'll do." Despite their confusion, the folks eyed the old-timey planks and got to work, led by a few eager beavers. Nelson sat by me, puffing away in silence. "Wooden armor, huh? Only someone extraordinary could rock that getup." …… Jim was extraordinary, alright. He was the general of my infant spirits army. I had armed him with a bow and many arrows, and as twilight fell, I suited him up in the armor myself.

There are three types of Knights in the association: (1) the High Knights who were the ones closest to the royal family of the Laera Kingdom; (2) the warriors, the Knights who received missions from the High Knights through the Head of the Knights Association, and; (3) the mentors, who mold the Knights for three years into strong, capable warriors. Major Dylan watched horrified as his students charged at the water clone. Leon created dozens of his own which dog piled the Aidan water clone. Sophia, Zain, and the real Leon ran around the wiggling mass of magic clones and shot towards the real Aidan holding him captive.

Nighttime and drowned in his world the gaint didn't realize a small figure running through the dark, from the opposite side of the alley, right towards him. ~ BAM~ The phone went down on the street with a loud clank sound, which was once in the hands of the gaint just mere seconds ago. The clash between that small figure and gaint caused both of them to fall hard to the ground. "WHAT THE FUCKING HELL... "
