Suddenly i realised Dellinq was very quiet in my head. "Dellinq?" "Sorry, mate was hiding." "Hiding?" "She scared." "Of what?" "She special." "Dellinq, stop being so cryptic." "She a blue tail mermaid." He said. I frowned and looked at Kari. "What is it?" She asked. "Apparently, Chloe is a special mermaid, which is why she hid." I told her. "Dellinq is being cryptic." Kari was quiet for a moment, obviously discussing with Hela. Suddenly her eyes turned purple

The word hung in the air like ash and flame. "Most of our records conflate the Siren with the Mermaid," the scientist continued, his tone clinical and detached. "It is a common error of the uninitiated. To understand the difference, one must look at the natural world. Think of the Mermaid as an alligator - a localized predator, efficient but limited. The Siren, however, is the saltwater crocodile. Larger, more aggressive, and possessing an impossible strength and kinetic energy that transcends the aquatic domain. While Mermaids lure to drown, Sirens command the very frequency of the original night."

The place was a total buzz! People filled the narrow hallways that spread out to a very large hall painted in a deep aquamarine blue. The florescent lights which hung from the high ceilings were in the shapes and sizes of various kinds of fishes and sea animals. Adorned on one wall was a mural of the Blue Whale surrounded by jumping dolphins. The dolphins looked like little fishes compared to the size of the large mammal. People, couples, families trooped into the hall from different pathways bubbling with excitement, their faces full of joy with the occasional person looking green and queasy.

Mariam said, hurrying away. We followed after her, coming to a stop in front of a dolphin. "These are bottlenose dolphins. They're among the most intelligent marine animals. Also, dolphins sleep with only one half of their brain at a time. The other half stays awake so they can continue breathing and watch for danger." "Damn… seems like the aquatic world is a tough place to live in. Imagine never getting a full night's sleep," I said. “Tell me about it.” Mariam murmured, then began walking again.

“Ouchhh!” Daven muttered after he was hit by a tiny stone from somebody that was hiding behind the big rocks as he hanged out at the sea side with its strong impulse of water where he was standing. “Anybody there?!” he asked from the place where the stone came from and he wonder who would dare to hide behind those rocks where the impulse of water getting more stronger. Laughs! Of those beautiful mermaids hiding behind a large rocks that made him convinced that there are really somebody behind on it. When the burly young man tried to step closer to check, they immediately dived until they were drifting away into the depths of the sea.

Beryl couldn’t believe her ears as she looked over at Daryl to exchange a look of incredulity. Daryl however had her jaw open and eyes focused on Daffodil, “A- a Merman?” “Mmhmm,” Daff nodded, “Could be why he’s so tall. They usually are. Centaurs and Merpeople are physically very strong.” Daryl couldn’t stop gaping and her cheeks looked flushed. “Okay, okay,” Beryl was trying to clear her buzzing head, “So… you can smell them… and there are actually four of them besides you, in this university?!”

Spending her life in an exile domain with dark evil creatures she calls her pet. With the little world she manages to create she builds an army of possessed mermaids and mermans injecting in them a toxin that could prove fatal to them turning them against their own kind with just a single scratch. A mermaid family was going on their way to visit the bedrock fishes when they came across a mermaid who was in pain of her wounded tail as she swam and lay on a rock. “Hey Isabel, look , something seems to be a problem with her tail. I think we should help her up?” The merman said, trying to reach the injured mermaid.

"I would love to see you try, bro." What was that scent? I brought my nose close to Phoenix, going on my tiptoes, took a long sniff and sighed. "You smell nice." His face went red. I had no idea why. "Uh...Okay. Thanks, I guess." Alec cleared his throat. "In all seriousness, we were just talking about mermaids. I'm so fascinated by mythical creatures. Did you know that more than eighty percent of the world's oceans have been undiscovered? Imagine if they did some serious underwater researches, they may come across merfolks. Who knows there are probably some beautiful mermaids down there. Blue could totally look like one."

But she guessed the mermen were there too. “She is the pretty girl, huh?” came another masculine voice “Well, here's your package. Bye, we need to get back” and there was a loud splash, followed by another then the dolphins dived in and out and were gone too “Why couldn't I see them?” “The mermen? Yeah, they blend with the atmosphere. That's how they get things for me” Dakar replied and held the box in his right paw up. “Let's get going. It's getting really chilly” Avril stated and rubbed her arms.

However, Aqua was thrilled at the number of stars above them. Parking further from everyone else, Dawn finally killed the engine but let the air conditioner run. “I see it!” Aqua gushed as Dawn helped wind down her window and unfastened her seat belt. “That’s the mermaid, and beside it is the clownfish.” Nodding, Dawn looked up. He didn’t know what Aqua was talking about. However, listening to her babble about astrology in the mermaid language was interesting. Apparently, merfolk astrology differed from the ones humans created.
