Mermaid Species Novels & Stories

While they were still crossing the river, they noticed the cry of a baby, it seems as though this baby was abandoned by her parents and left to float freely on the river on a small raft. Dike was so touched by the cries of the baby and was trying to pull her into his bigger raft when another hand caught his hand from the river to pull him in, with his spear; he speared the mermaid that was trying to pull him into the river and he killed the mermaids instantly, this made other mermaids jump out of the river to fight. You could see the down part of them hidden below the waters, from the belly downward has scales, fines and shaped like that of a fish.

He returned accompanied by a pair of older fellows and was holding a metal box in his hands. The metal mermaid alumina; it was called that because it was made from the scales of Sea Kings which were 100ft tall mermaid shaped creatures that had tridents for arms. Xasha wanted one of those tridents, the metal was the best Xasha had known for storing and channeling mana to cast spells.

I said hurriedly, and then I heard George's shout. This one dove into the river along with me, as did Rai. Out of nowhere, about three creatures emerged on the bank and attacked the trackers. It was the first time I had ever seen a mermaid and my body felt completely afraid. They were hideous creatures; they appeared to be giant fish, but with a human face attached to something resembling a beast. It was a strong vision, but the strongest thing was to realize that their nine tails had spikes that turned out to be lethal.

"Why do I have a tail?! Did you make me a fish? You with your elongated nose, fucking horse, I'm no fish!Give me back my feet!" "What the hell, Miss?!" The seahorse is obviously annoyed based on the pitch of its tone, but I don't care if it's upset or angry, "Don't be exaggerated! You are a mermaid! You're not a normal fish. Look, you're half-human, half-fish! A mermaid, miss! MER-MAID!" Oh god! Isn't this impossible?I am not! I am not a mermaid!

Kai scratched his head at this and grinned," Well, I am just trying to think of the need for turning into mermaids and mermen. And then there is the entire thing about procreation..." Crystal rolled her eyes and leaned back in the passenger seat, "As it happens they do not turn into fished or mermen and mer-women. The fish people are a human tribe born from the Sea God. They are essentially human but they can go as deep as 200 ft in the ocean without a need for breathing or any gear. They can hold their breaths underwater for more than ten minutes and have long-evolved spleens which make them more and more fish-like. If we can convince them to join us and create a disruption deep under the w

"This will only be worse. Tell me who sent you?" Nobody seemed willing to talk, I was not adept at beating women, but courtesy did not extend when they decided to kill my son. "Denah, take the blowtorch." They were mermaids, but unlike what everyone think, they didn’t need to live in the water, this was just an invention of historians. These creatures lived near water, but rather out of fear of fire, it was the most effective way to kill them. The skin boiled, as if they were cooking inside, it was a slow and disgusting death.

I tell him honestly. A large smile comes across his face as I reveal that fact. "Well we are only one of the species that has hatched from eggs. There are the pegasi, the kelpies, fairies, and the mermaids. Each has their own section of land here and there own leaders. We won't get to visit all the camps today but we should be able to cover two" he says as he heads towards the trees again.

Feral said quietly, his voice as small as a mosquito’s annoying Genad a bit. “If you’re fine then get up, we have to begin our journey instantly, or else we might caught up in something annoying,” Genad said as he stood up. What he was saying wasn’t insensible as it was common for other races to target the coming-of-age period of the mermaids/mermen to attack and capture them before selling their parts for fortunes. Everything that a mermaid possessed from head to tail was valuable and a once-in-a-red-moon treasure, and so being caught by any race especially humans meant complete dissection in order to sell the important parts- which was literally everything.

But no matter how many pep talks mom gave me, my mind was not ready to be brutalized in such a manner… I know it was tradition, but I could not bring myself to do such a horrendous act. We had a small number of female mermaid inhabitants and more males hence the barbaric sort of mating. Some unmated merman died of loneliness if they did not find a life spouse, hence the fight to impregnate a female by any means necessary when given a chance was taken seriously. I sighed heavily, through the gills located on my neck. My eyes were hooded as I stared into the darkest shadows of the deep end. I contemplated just vanishing into the deep blue never to be seen again.

Their eyes were red, and their hands were long and sharply clawed. When viewed from above, they appear as if they were mermaids. The only notable difference was their having webbed feet like frogs. " Those are commonly referred to as "Shokoy" " I was shocked when I heard Hugo had said. "A mermaid is the exact opposite of a shokoy. Mermaids are exactly what they are called: mermen." I was told by Olivia. " The truth is that the mermaids are only half human, and the other half is a mix of fish and human. While mermen are more like humans, they appear to be half fish.
