Metal Slug Soldiers Novels & Stories

The soldiers of Sloria line up in front of the castle. Every one of them is wearing white armor which are the same color as the snow while their armbands have Dmtri’s emblem on them. The emblem is a silver wolf standing on hind legs holding a pair of blue roses. Each soldier is holding a weapon and a strong armor made of iron and steel.

The robot’s chest plate began to drip, molten metal falling to the floor with sizzling plops. “Clear visual!” Willz yelled. Mello, finally finished, held up his sketchbook. He had drawn not a bazooka, but a long, wicked-looking katana with a serrated edge. “I hear you, brother!” Bryan, his energy clearly flagging, gasped out, “Make the final move!” Willz’s scythe appeared in his hands in a swirl of shadow. Mello’s drawing glowed, and the katana materialized before him, dropping into his grip.

Alexander growled in anger and distress not knowing what his lady was about to do. Alexander was about to dash to where his lady was. When one by one, dark-colored phantom soldiers started emerging from the ground. It didn’t take long before they also began appearing on the ceiling and walls. They were immediately surrounded. Lord Slog could not help but tremble along with the other magic users. Commander Tycus began unsheathing his sword, in preparation for battle together with the soldiers. “Protect his highness!” The commander shouted. Within that moment, hundreds of phantom soldiers charged towards them, with their mystical weapons in hand.

It didn’t feel good at all, but she knew it had to be done. The fourth soldier was backing away, raising a ruckus as he screamed, his footsteps heavy on the floor. Slate caught up to him in a matter of seconds and pulled him against his chest as he used a knife to slit the man’s throat. Again, blood bubbled everywhere, but they needed to hurry if they were to get to the room where the gem was being held before the loud troop’s friends came running.

I summoned a large portion of my magic and willed for all of their weapons to coil into useless metal. They looked wide-eyed around each other, astonished at what had happened. "Magic! Is she a witch?!" They screeched among themselves. I didn't give them more time to react as I sheathed my swords back and ran for them. These soldiers stood upright but they had long ears, claws and sharp teeth like animals. Their skins were lizard-like. Their eyes held a glint of devilish green menace.
