Michael Test Novels & Stories

"It is the only place in the whole world that makes me happy." "How was your night?" he asked, turning to glare at Alda’s face. Alda was shocked, not because Michael turned to look at her, but because he seemed like a completely different person from the one she met at the alchemy strip club. "I am sorry about the other night. I was just not in the right mood." His words surprised Alda again. So she only smiled, giving her the courage to ask about the result of the test. "You are right! You are indeed a virgin," Michael said with a big laugh. "You are my dream come true, and so I am most grateful for that."

Laura. I’ve Michael where I needed him now— bound to a chair with his gaze helplessly pinned on my moist heat. It’s literally the best way to interview him, like I wanted. The best way to get him to answer the questions I want to throw at him. Well, last night didn’t go completely to waste while I was bawling in my room. I dug into a secret website that lists out information about rich moguls like Michael. That was where I learned his nationality and a few other things, which are still disturbing the hell out of my heart.

LA wasn't named, so I assume it's my father's toy. - Now that we're all introduced, I want to say that David took the loyalty test last night and not only passed, but he managed to escape. - What – Michael says, getting up. - How is that possible? The men I chose never let anyone escape. - Well, he's not as useless as we thought. It's good because I need someone like him to work beside me. I look at my father. - And what is this work, father? – Mickael asks with disdain.

"You think this is funny? You worthless piece of—!" He grabbed my ear, twisting hard. Pain shot through my skull. When I tried to shove him away, he kicked my legs out from under me. I hit the floor, my ear screaming in agony. He wasn't stopping. "I have my test today!" I finally screamed. "Are you trying to kill me?" "A whole month at some bar, probably sleeping around—why even bother taking the test? You'll probably be knocked up in a month anyway!" He kicked me toward my room. "You're not going. I'm not letting you."

"Alright, alright. I'll come to you." Once his footsteps faded, I opened my eyes. Grabbed my phone. Booked a one-way ticket. Somewhere far. Three years of tests, lies, and fake love—I was done. "Jacob, I never want to see you again."

I needed a break from everything. I sat across from Michael near the open balcony windows, one hand curled loosely around a cup of coffee that had already gone lukewarm. He spoke about something involving his latest business trip and an Alpha in France who apparently tried to negotiate while drunk. “He called his own beta incompetent,” Michael said, shaking his head with visible disbelief. “To his face.” I laughed softly despite myself. “That’s embarrassing.” “For him or the beta?” He turned to look at me already cracking in laughter.

Michael leaned back in his chair as I sat down. “Bro, you almost died out there,” he whispered. “I know.” He laughed. “You’re lucky you’re not late. Man’s evil.” I didn’t respond. My mind was still trying to process. After the test, I stepped out with Michael stretching like he’d survived war. “That was insane,” he said. “I think my soul left my body halfway through.” I almost laughed. Almost. Then— “Ivan!” That voice. I turned. Tiffany. Of course.

I don’t say anything to Michael, just stare at him with disappointment and a little bit of understanding. He hesitates for a moment before continuing. “I… did my findings, needed to be sure I wasn’t letting external voices get into my head. And when I found loopholes, I decided to invite him to spend a few days with us.” A gasp tumbles out of me. “You were testing me?” “I was,” he doesn’t bother denying it. “I needed to see if Austin was doctoring the lies flying around. If you hadn’t left that day, you would’ve known my return was to ask him to leave. I watched everything play out, Ada…”

“If you’re not willing to, let me speak on your behalf. “The Smith family claimed to have several hundred years of history. To choose their sons-in-law, they requested every man to have the ability to control their desires. “To test that, the men have to drink a special concoction of aphrodisiac and stay in the same room as their fiancees for a night. To pass the test, they couldn’t do anything to their fiancees. “Winnie, I did agree to the test so that I could marry you. However, I failed eight times over three years. You clearly know the reason for my failure. Is it truly because I have no self-control?”

But why was Ashley worried about being left behind while I travelled? Whatever her reason was, I still needed to tell her who Kelly is and also find out what Kelly was doing at the restaurant and who had given her access. I reached for my phone on the pile of papers and punched in Michael's phone number in the keypad. Michael was not only a petroleum engineer, but he was also an expert when it comes to tracking and extracting private information for people. He was more of a tech whiz than I am and has contacts from all over the world from high profiled people who used his services. He called it his side hustle. No wonder he wasn't interested in running a jewellery company.
