Her eyes followed the trails of color splayed all over, and she pulled her bottom lip into her mouth before releasing it with a slight pop. “You own Southern Europe and America?” There was a soft squeal of surprise in her voice.

Chad was unsure how the sudden increase in earthbound immortals was related to that. Micah smiled as he took a map from the living room's bookshelf and spread it on the table. "Do you know what this is?" Chad looked at it. "A world map. No, wait! What type of map is this?" The map showed nine continents without latitude and longitude, but the level of detail suggested that it was extremely accurate. Micah laughed. "This is indeed a world map, but it's a reproduction of one from 5,000 years ago, accurately copied from the Nine Cauldrons."

“It's enchanted so it can't be seen anywhere else outside of the northern zone. However, part of that map has blood memory, so you will be able to find a note and you must read the instruction journal.” Hope's specifications were clear and direct. I ran my fingers over the maps. Here, there was a large red circle with the number 50 beneath it and the notation, “65, 10, 70%”

It groaned open. Dust and the scent of old rain filled the chamber. Inside, the walls were lined with faded murals. Silver wolves beneath a white moon. Shadowed wolves beneath a red one. And at the center of the floor, a stone map. Afnan stepped closer, her breath catching. The map had been carved directly into the ground, its lines etched deep into the black stone. Mountain ranges. Forest borders. Rivers. Bloodstone. And two circles. One beneath the fortress.

I asked and Mitne let a world map suddenly appear. I only see the normal three continents we have. The big solid one that runs right around the world. That is the land we are on now, the Lycan King continent. The one on the left is known as the Dark King Continent and than we have the Alpha King Continent, containing the wolves, where I am from.

The map was drawn on some unknown beast skin, and perhaps due to its age, it bore traces of yellowing. Severin reached out, caught the flying map, and carefully examined it. The front side featured a starry sky route, with the final destination near a radiant planet. On the reverse side, there was a passage written by someone named 'Troy Burke.'

“The real map. One you won't find so easily. ” I narrowed my eyes. “You’ve been holding out on us.” He didn’t deny it. “I was waiting to see if you’d be stupid enough to try,” he said, voice low. “Now I know you are. So I might as well help you live through it.” He jabbed a weathered finger at the center of the scroll. It showed the Nytherra lands, but this version read deeper into the north. Black mountains. Winding ravines. Symbols in a language I barely understood.
