Rowan’s car was the silent model, with fake leaves and vines sprawled all over it, to blend with nature when escaping from targets. I turned on the engine, hoping I still remembered how to drive a car, as I had spent most of my life riding my bike. Midnight Bay was a small town, with unknown supernatural wars and battles going on under its nose, I barely had the need for a car in such a strange and eerie place.

We went down to the underground parking garage where his driver was already waiting. Thirty minutes later, we arrived at an unmarked black building on the outskirts of the city with no sign and no windows on the lower floors, just a single heavy steel door guarded by two large men in suits.
