The Queen's Mate

The Queen's Mate

I was nearing the pack though, I could feel it in the way the wind around me shifted ever so slightly and the ginger hairs on my arms stood on end in anticipation. Inhaling a cold breath that chilled my lungs with a fresh dose of oxygen, I picked up my pace. The little sun that leaked through the thick canopy above offered minuscule amounts of warmth which my skin greedily soaked up. I knew I reached the Midnight Sun's borders when I found two men leaning on either side of a tree trunk—one of which I recognized. "Thought I caught your scent on the wind," Zen, Alpha Quade's Delta greeted.

Falling Stardust

Falling Stardust

"My father was... you see-. "My parents were a part of a medium-sized guild in the Leroy province known as the Midnight Sun. A member of the Midnight Sun named Jenson had a cousin who was a high-ranking member of the Leroy Pavilion and was always boasting about it. He would always use his cousin's name to get away with endless atrocities and his cousin would stand behind him," another pause.

Under The Devil's Eyes

Under The Devil's Eyes

And this is the only one that feels like home. Even when it shouldn’t. Even when it hurts. Even when I hate it. I hold him tighter and wonder if this is the end. Or the beginning. Mikhail’s POV I wake to sunlight and her. Nora. Sleeping beside me. Soft snores. Hair fanned across the pillow. Sunlight on her face, highlighting freckles I memorized years ago. She’s here. In my bed. In my arms. I don’t move. Just watch. Admire.

Bound by Voices

Bound by Voices

Mira and Adrian tried to live quietly, far from the shining capitals. They built a small home beside a cliff where the ocean was loud enough to drown ghosts. --- Peace, however, doesn’t last long in a world that remembers how to speak. It began in spring. The neighbors’ child was born beneath the aurora— a girl with gray-silver eyes and a heartbeat that glowed through her skin. They named her Solenne. She was quiet at first. Too quiet. --- On the third night, the wind itself carried a whisper. > Hello, Mother.

The Midnight Veil

The Midnight Veil

Behind them stood three elders: A scarred woman with braided silver hair. A tall man with black eyes that didn't blink. And a third — shorter, rounder, with a wolf's patience carved into his face. All three stared at Charlie. The silver-haired woman stepped forward. "So," she said, voice sharp as frost. "The Unwritten stands in our valley." Charlie swallowed. "Hi. Uh. Sorry for— existing?" Matthew moved closer to her, ready to draw steel. Lysander shifted in front of her in one smooth, subtle motion. "Elder Maera. You will not address her with hostility."

Winter's Awakening

Winter's Awakening

*Aaron* The sun poured in through the ragged blinds, casting bright lines of light like a spotlight on my misery. I squinted, painfully aware of the pounding in my head, the result of too much moonshine and mistakes shared with Preston. I blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the blinding brightness of the room, all the while being hit in the face by the foul smell of stale alcohol, sweat, and regret.

Chasing Sunlight

Chasing Sunlight

I’m not a gloomy person by any means, but when everyone thinks of you as this ray of sunshine, some high expectations come along with that, and I don’t like to disappoint people. Why do I have to be a ray of sunshine for everyone? When do I get to just be Aurora Williams: human being? _______________ Authors Note: To anyone familiar with my previous work, I will go ahead and tell you that this is nothing like what I've done before. I've written this book to challenge myself as a writer. Also, there are some rape scenes that may trigger some readers, so keep that in mind before you begin reading. The book is yet to be edited so some slight adjustments will be made in the future for redundanci

Under a Different Sun

Under a Different Sun

I squinted and gave the bomb expert a half-smile. "There’s no need to waste time with words.” "Just do your thing, and quick." He nodded and got down to business with his tools. I licked my back teeth. Great. Now of all times I was dying for a smoke. The afternoon in Safrana? It was blazing hot. I had been standing in the blazing sun for what felt like an eternity, and it seemed like the sun was trying to cook me alive.

The Lunar Legacy

The Lunar Legacy

She closed the journal, her fingers tracing the leather cover, the sunlight casting a golden glow on her face, the grove a sanctuary, her future a radiant flame. Alya stood, her amber eyes narrowing as she gazed toward the horizon, her voice a determined whisper, the sunlight illuminating her face, the warmth of the grove a mirror to the fire in her veins, the air thick with the promise of new adventures, the grove a sanctuary, her destiny a radiant light. “There’s something out there,” she said, her hand resting on Crescent’s head, the wolf’s ears twitching, the sunlight dancing on her face, the grove a haven, the warmth a shared beginning. “A shadow stirring in the north—I can feel it.” He

Merturned

Merturned

Finrir, facing the tent wall with his back turned to Tritan, settled into a restless sleep. The next morning in the depths of the abyss, the world remained immersed in darkness. Yet, a subtle shift unfolded as the unseen sun rose above the merfolk. The only indication of daybreak came from the waystick mounted on the carriage, undergoing a remarkable transformation. Its dim purple glow gradually intensified, blossoming into a radiant, bright pink luminescence that suffused the entire campsite with its enchanting light.
