Marcus continued slowly. “He said when she handed him candy, her wrist was exposed for a moment. On it was a very unusual tattoo.” Marcus took out another photo. It was a child’s drawing. A twisted pumpkin face, its mouth split all the way to the ears, its eyes hollow spirals. “This kind of gothic-style tattoo… a lot of people have them…” My voice grew quieter and quieter. Marcus said nothing. He simply placed a third photo in the center of the table. The background was a beach and the open sea.

Esmeray held her forearm up, examining the intricate tattoo that adorned her skin. The tattoo depicted a majestic wolf, its eyes fierce and determined, surrounded by swirling patterns that seemed to dance with a life of their own. The lines were bold and precise, giving the impression of strength and resilience. “This tattoo is so unique,” Esmeray remarked, tracing her fingers over the contours of the design. “I’ve always felt a connection to it, but I never knew why.”

It was of three crescent moons, all facing away from each other. What did it represent? "I'm Allyssa," I said, and she nodded knowingly with a smile, causing me to chuckle. "And you already know that. Nice to meet you, Celeste," I said, instantly liking her. It is funny how this night keeps getting weirder.

Then he scooped her in his arms, bringing her towards the room. Inside the room, he laid her down on the bed, making sure he is comfortable. Then he laid sideways facing her. He stared at her pretty face that's seems so familiar to him. Then just so suddenly an image of Mizuko laying beside him flashed in his mind, making his eyes round. Kenshi scoffed when he finally processed the fact about them. She was naked in his flashback. Maybe this is why she has that tattoo on her skin and he has the same one.

Rex asked, trying to defuse the tension as they all sat down quietly.
