Mike lunges for me from behind, trying to restrain me. My shoulder jerks mid-motion—halfway through a shift. Muscle tears and rebuilds in the same second. Pain flashes white-hot through me and barely registers. I swing instinctively. My palm slams into Mike's side and I hear the crack before he does. He stumbles backward, breath punched violently from his lungs. "Cat!" The word sounds distant. Like hearing somebody underwater. My spine arches sharply. My jaw shifts enough for my teeth to cut into my lip and blood fills my mouth.

“I don't….I don't know what you are talking about,” Doctor Mike said in denial and one of the members of Zayn’s gang hit him with the whip in his hand and the shirt torn for the seventh time that day, blood seep out of the wound and the groaned after letting out a scream that rang throughout the basement.

Mike entered the unit after a few minutes. “You’re drunk, sir?” Mike asked him as he stood near the sofa where he sat. His driver looked at the bandage on his head and then at the shards of glass and at the nearby bottle and the two glasses lying on the floor. Sadie was sitting beside him, a foot away from him. Mike seemed horrified at the few drops of blood on the floor. “No, I’m just sleepy,” he said. “And the alcohol made it worse. But don’t worry, I can still get out of here on my own as the accident shook me up a little. You don’t have to carry me.”

He gave his right hand to Silver, saying, “By the way, I’m Mike Williams. And you are?” That single act of the kid made him so angry that he finally lost his cool. “Don’t talk to me as if we were friends, you nasty old vampire!!” He said, twisting his mouth in disgust. Silver then slowly lifted his right hand horizontally towards Mike. All the water from the glass jar and everywhere else in the tavern slowly rose and then circled around Mike and Silver. “Argh...! What’s happening to me?” Mike cried, seemingly in great agony, and fell on the floor screaming.

I didn’t follow, instead I dropped into one of the hard chairs lining the hallway, the weight of everything crashing down on me all at once. Dirt clung to my clothes and his blood stained my hands and arms. My shotgun still hung over my shoulder, forgotten, it was like I hadn’t fully stepped out of the battlefield yet. I dragged both hands down my face, exhaling slowly, trying to steady myself, soon my phone buzzed and it was Rex. “I just got the update,” he said the second I answered. “Mike’s been hit?” “Yeah.” My voice came out rougher than I expected. “He was shanked deep, at least five inches.”

But, my lips hurt a bit and I checked it on my phone and found out that it was bleeding. " Blood and you, you can never be separated from it Dorothy. Blood has always loved you a lot since your youth and even to your adulthood that you are suffering from the blood cancer. You should confess it to Alex, soon. WINTER Mike's hand is still on my throat when I decide I've had enough of being the victim in other people's dramatic scenes. Time to change the narrative. I reach into my pocket and pull out the small canister I had taken out of my bag before getting into Mike's car. I spray it directly into his eyes. Mike screams like I just told him his credit card got declined, except louder and more genuine, and his hand immediately flies off my throat to clutch at his face.

He slowly pushed the needed into her arm, and connected the tube. Mike looked over to David who was sitting watching him. Mike released the tube so the blood could flow freely into the bag. Mike finished up draining the rest of the blood he needed, he pulled the needle out and pushed a piece of cotton on the wound. Mike went to the cabinet pulling out a camera and snapped a few pictures of Jade’s face. “That'll do.” He smiled.

The sound of a body slamming into a tree trunk echoed through the forest. The other man was far to shocked to react when Mike grabbed him by the neck and threw him looked him straight into the eyes. "You've got to stop taking crystal meth, it's giving you horrible hallucinations." At this time, Mike extended his fangs and bit into the man's jugular, feeling a jet of hot blood shoot into his mouth. He drank four spurts of blood before licking the wounds and sealing them over. Fully sated, Mike threw the him after his companion, aiming a little shorted so that he wouldn't hit the same tree. "So, what the hell are you?" Asked a voice from behind. Mike turned to meet the girl.

"What went wrong?" Mike wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand.Some of the hair tucked into his usual was bun had come loose.Maybe that was why it was always messy. He looked faint and deathly pale.He staggered backwards and fell on his back.Sharon came to his rescue and cradled his head. "Mike!!.Are you okay?". Andrea had stopped laughing.
