Mike looked back into my eyes with a loving and relieved look. It was then that I leaned into him and placed my cheek on his chest. I started to run my hands up his arms to wrap them around his neck to pull him closer did I feel something sticky. I pulled my hand back and lifted my head and saw blood on my fingers. “Mike.” I looked at him in panic. “You’re shot.” “I’m fine Angel.” He chuckled as he shook his head. “Let’s go home.” “Home.” I said with a longing feeling. He took out his phone and hurled it to the ground, the screen shattering instantly. Then, under my terrified gaze, he threw himself headfirst into the wall until he began bleeding from his forehead. "You dipshit, I swear I'm going to get back everything you owe Vicky on her behalf!" he said, snarling at me. A split second later, he suddenly screamed at the top of his lungs. "Help! Save me! This lunatic is trying to kill me!" Soon, hurried footsteps could be heard, and a few medical staff from the hospital saw the bloodied Mike and my frozen self standing there. They immediately rushed up to us and wrestled me to the floor, pinning me there.

A high-pitched screaming was the loudest one ever and Alaric turned to his side to see Mike on the floor and the scream was coming from him. In the blink of an eye, he stood in front of Mike and scrunched his nose when an awful smell enveloped everywhere. He looked down at Mike’s legs, realizing the man had peed himself with the liquid staining his pants. “How frail.” “P-please, p-please, l-let me go. I-I b-beg of you.” Mike cried, not believing what he had just witnessed. If anyone had told him that the gentle-looking man could be so dangerous, he would have never believed it. Something was wrong somewhere, I could not place a finger on it but something did not feel right with me at all. “Hayley!” I turned to see Mike yelling my name. My heart stopped dead when I saw Lance’s hand over his shoulder for support as the other hand held on to his stomach to hold in a bleeding. The shirt he was wearing was covered in blood.
