Several folders covered his desk. Photographs. Financial reports. Old newspaper articles. The kind of evidence that destroys lives. He handed her one photograph. The image showed a man in his fifties. Dark hair. Sharp features. Expensive suit. A smile that somehow felt fake even in a photograph. "Victor Salazar." Taylaa studied the picture. "Who was he?" Michael leaned back. "He was one of the biggest money launderers on the East Coast." Her eyes widened. "What?" "For years, authorities tried to build a case against him."

Mike walked in to his hotel room and slumped on the bed. He played a song and increased the volume and danced to the song while packing his luggages into his mini box. He took the file and smelled it, he hasn't opened it ever since he collected it from Anthony, he has done his calculations and planned his life for the next 10 years. "Mike you are the most fortunate person on earth, you become a billionaire without working hard for it. I am lucky." He screamed and jumped up happily.

I enquired in a defensive manner, and Mike shifted to the edge of his seat and clasped his hands together in a prayer like manner. "I used to be in the Red cross society back in my university days. I know a… sprain when I see one." Mike said in a single breath and leaned back into his seat. I was stunned speechless. Asides the shocker of a drug lord caring about the wellbeing of others medically, it was the very first time Mike was telling me something about his past. The first time he was telling me something about him! I blinked and opened my mouth to say something, anything in reply, but I got as much luck as I would get in raising the dead.

Mike says. I can only laugh, but really, seriously, does this man think that he and his family treated me well? Mike is delusional. He was never good to me. He was never the husband I deserved to have. He will never be Damon. After what they have done to me, he really believed that I still care about him. I never cared about him. I was just used to him, and I think I felt sorry for him because I knew that he was never meant to be an attorney. Mike was never good at being an attorney, and he would have been nothing if it were not for me. I was the one handling all these cases. I was not happy with the way he and his father handled it. I was not happy with them bribing witnesses.

Michael started "No sir, it's not a lie. I was at home with my wife when I saw the debit alert of the money being withdrawn from the account under your name and as soon as I came to work I asked your secretary why she didn't inform me before the transaction took place and then she told me that you weren't at work and you didn't tell her about the money that got withdrawn" He explained "Are you trying to tell me that a ghost from nowhere took out the money from the account and you all don't have a solid excuse about it?" Michael asked

Then he adds, annoyed, “That is, when I can fucking call him.” “I wonder if Mike retired,” I muse. Grant looks at me, confused. “Why would he retire?” “People who aren’t billionaires tend to do that when they suddenly come into five million dollars.” “Well, shit… Connor’ll probably be pissed about losing his best pilot, too.” “Probably.” “…I’ll make it a really nice plane,” Grant mutters. We stick to our agreement with the FBI and limit our phone calls to family: my parents, his family and siblings. We do a lot of explaining, a lot of calming people down, and a little crying (well, at least on my part).

I'm going to give you the money I collected, just let me see the number before paying." "Is the money up to five hundred?" The caretaker asked. "Yes," Mike responded. The caretaker dipped his hands in his pocket and brought out a piece of paper. He covered half of the number because he knew Mike was a smart and desperate guy.

Mike: "that wouldn't be needed, you should talk to them about it yourself all you have to do is not keep any of the information away from me remember I am the one who is going to lure her into whatever hole it's that you have digged down which means I would have to know how well your plan os going out there inorder to know when to get her out of the house." He said

Mike replied shamelessly sipping his wine. "By framing Ted you couldn't get much money Mike. He is not that much rich now. The loss he got from compensating the driver and the organization is very huge." Lisa said reasonably. "Haha.... who's saying I'm interested in Ted's money? He is a penniless man now. I am talking about the person who paid me for framing him." Mike smiled evilly while staring at the glass of wine in his hand. "What do you mean?" "Do you remember that dinner we had with Mr. Carlos?" Mike asked out of blue.

"Please forgive, ma'am. I promise to tell you everything I know." "Then start talking. Start spilling everything. First of all, how much did the person pay you that made you stoop so low to do that? Mr. Mike, I heard you to be someone that is wealthy. How much did you accept and tell me who sent you to do this?" "I will speak. Please, don't call the cops on me."
