"So you're Eleanor Lane? I didn't expect your jealousy to run this deep. You just got back, and you've already come looking for trouble." Rage surged through me. I pointed sharply at the ruined cake at my feet. "Today is my mother's birthday. She was the one who crashed into me." I thought he would distinguish right from wrong. Instead, Kylo froze for two seconds, then let out a cold laugh. "So that's your excuse for hitting Nora? Forget about some cake. Believe it or not, I could make today your mother's death anniversary instead."

“I convinced Ashley not to go with a unicorn theme for the party.” I laugh at his awful joke. Ashley was dead set on rainbows and unicorns EVERYTHING for Codi’s birthday celebration. Milo convinced her to stick with rainbow everything. Kas and Delilah are making the cake rainbow colors on the inside with a unicorn face and horn on the outside. That seemed to appease my overly zealous best friend. I’m just grateful that Mom and Dad will get to be there for it. A knock on the door makes Milo jump up to answer it.

However, seconds later, Erina smiled and added, "This is the limited edition cake that Larry ordered for me a few days ago at Creche Bakery in the Neutral Zone. I didn't know that it was your pup's birthday today too. What a coincidence! Happy birthday, little one!" The box suddenly felt very heavy. I wanted to reject the cake at first, but Nora was still very young, and she pursed her lips at me. She couldn't stop herself from asking Larry, "Can you please eat this cake with me too?" Larry went silent for a while before nodding. We went back inside the house. I opened the box and cut a small slice of the cake. However, when I smelled it, my heart dropped into my stomach at once. It was made

Leon quickly smiled and announced to everyone, “Thank you for all coming to celebrate my daughter, Renea’s Morris birthday. Today is her 18th Birthday, making her coming of age. Let’s congratulate Renea on becoming an adult.” “Butler, bring the cake!” he said. Leon spoke with enthusiasm, not even mentioning Kailey by half a word. It was as if Renea was his biological daughter. Susan stepped forward and tucked his sleeve, “Hubby, aren’t you…” As Susan began to speak, a chilling gaze from Leon, silenced her mid-sentence. Soon, the Butler brought out an 18-layered cake. It was adorned with a figurine dressed in red and striking a dance pose. Both Kailey and Renea had worn a red dress before. As

“I wondered where you had disappeared to.” “I was just telling Gloria that it’s Tiff’s 21st birthday tomorrow,” I advised him. “Excellent, so party it is,” Nathan revealed. “Yes,” I agreed. “Oh, one more thing, Mrs. Michaels. What flavor of cake?” Gloria asked. “Can we do a two-tier cake?” I questioned. “Marble lower tier and pina colada top?” “That sounds wonderful,” Gloria said. “That’s all I need to start. Have a good afternoon.”

Everything is great. The phone rang for her. She said yes. "What? No. No. That's not okay. Okay. "I'll take care of it." She hung up, her face blanched. What's the matter? "Zara inquired. The cake. The bakery got the orders jumbled up. A birthday celebration in Queens got our wedding cake. "The cake for the birthday is here." How terrible is the cake for the birthday? It looks like a dinosaur. With blue frosting that said "Happy 6th Birthday, Tyler."

He grabbed the cake box and opened it in front of me. It was a two-tier cake. The lower part looked mocha brown, cream fondant covered the smaller layer, and written in thin icing was a short but cute greeting: " HAPPY 26th, MYKAELA! Much love, M " My cheeks warmed up at the note. My breathing went choppy as I stood beside him, just staring at the cake like an idiot, like I suddenly forgot how to speak. "What's it say?" In just seconds, Mommy had already placed the cake on the dinner table. "So sweet." She smiled faintly at the birthday greeting. "You two are just so cute."

He walked me to the cake while I just couldn’t contain my joy, all the workers and Mikel’s men sang along with the musician as he sings the birthday song to me. After the birthday song and wishes, we cut the cake and I fed Mikel, Mikel also fed me and I asked the workers to go and share the remaining. I never stop kissing and embracing Mikel. He walked me to the compound and there was a car with a red ribbon on it, I look back to his face and he gave me the car keys. “ Happy birthday my love” he said. I jumped at him then I rush to the car, I look at the car and it was a Bugatti.

“Wow, thanks Mom!” Nothing fancy but she tried her best to have Luna’s favorites including pizza, donuts and of course, her Aunt Martha’s red velvet cake with eight sparkle candles. Aside from the silver foil curtain and the metallic letter balloons which spelled LUNA’S EIGHTH as backdrop, tonight’s celebration is as simple as it gets. “Is this because I’m eight now, Mom?” Astrid chuckled. “Yes, hon. And because you have a special guest tonight.” “Is Dada Carl coming?” Luna asked excitedly, just looking at the food in front of her.
