Miles Morales Birthday Cake Novels & Stories

Brenda nodded, tears streaming down her face now, and JT stood up from his chair. This was it. This was the moment. I held my breath, and shoved the chocolate bar in my mouth as JT walked around the table to where Brenda was sitting, and I could see his hands trembling, could see him taking deep breaths to steady himself. "There's actually one more surprise," JT said, gesturing toward a side table I hadn't noticed before. "I had them make you a special birthday cake. Your favorite—chocolate with raspberry filling." He walked over to the table and carefully lifted what I assumed was a cake dome, revealing—

Melody and Azalea, look over the cake. "Isn't it gorgeous. That bake shop does a wonderful job." Melody says. "Absolutely, we use the Emerald Coast Bake shop from time to time as well. They are talented and dedicated. Are you going to get Leo's cake from there? His birthday is towards the end of the month isn't it!" "Yes, their birthdays are a few weeks apart, he will be ten. a decade old!" Melody's eyes soften and moisten glancing briefly at both children by the cake."Let's sing to Mia now and then we can cut the cake."

What special announcement was she talking about? She released Anacá and hugged me. “What’s the announcement, Theia?” She smiled and released me. “Have some patience, my boy.” “I made a sugar-free lemon drizzle birthday cake for dad,” said Anacá, handing her treat to Theia. “I hope he’ll like it.” “Of course he will. We haven’t ordered a birthday cake in years. I didn’t know there’s a diabetic version too.” She accepted the cake when Dad walked in, wearing a brand new T-shirt and sweatpants.

Jessica pushed the door just in time, slipping through the gap before it swung shut behind her. She nearly collided with a couple walking in, but they didn’t even notice her—too busy chatting, heads leaned together. She kept going. In her hands was a cake box, held tightly and level. Inside was a small round cake—chocolate with pink rosettes, Nori’s favorite. Marina had baked it fresh that morning and even wrote “Happy 5th Birthday, Nori” on top in white icing. It wasn’t store-bought or fancy, but it was made with love. That mattered more.

“Once you turn eighteen, I want to paint you again, but with Jax.” Maximus’ eyes glinted in excitement as a small, genuine smile formed on his lips. “I’ll make sure to remember that. Thank you, Raph. I love it.” “Oh, speaking of birthdays!” He looked at me in confusion when I knelt down and took the cake out of the paper bag. When he finally saw it, his eyes went wide. “You bought me another cake?” “Your favorite chocolate mousse cake,” I replied, lighting up the candle and holding the cake in front of Maximus. “Here. Have a wish and blow the candle, Max.”

"I just hoped. Going to your room to check would have simply wasted precious time and you know I'm not so quiet so the whole thing could have flopped if I did. I just had some luck on my side today." "Well, thank you," Camilla says. A small cake is on the table. It isn't round like she expected. Instead, it's actually two cakes of two numbers: 1 and 8 with candles lit on them. "Happy eighteenth birthday, Camille," Waylen says, giving her a side hug. "Make a wish." She closes her eyes as she blows out the candles. Waylen sits her down and cuts out a piece for her. "I'm glad you weren't annoyed with my choice of decor," he says as he hands her the plate.

I say and hang up. Today is November 5th and it's Millie's 7th birthday. Karter's throwing her a big birthday party with her friends, clowns, a magic show, a jumping castle-basically every kid's dream birthday party. Obviously it's going to be grand-she's a billionaire's daughter's. The party was supposed to start at 4 and it's already 3:45 as I pull into the driveway of the bakery. Hopefully I'll reach before 4. I carefully place the huge cake in the backseat of my car and cautiously start driving once again.

Thank you for letting me do the things that I thought I will not be able to do anymore. After unboxing the phone, we had a conversation and storytime about what happened to me last year. I also told them why I don’t like celebrating my birthday. It’s a serious deep talk with them. Syrel does have a lot of questions and I am happy because she’s really interested in my life. “Let’s start eating the cake!” I said to them and I bring out two types of cake. One from mango bravo and one chocolate mousse cake from Contis. Personally, I love the chocolate mousse cake because it feels like ice cream and cake in one.

There weren't many happy memories. He remembered it had been his eleventh birthday and since he'd never celebrated a birthday before, his Momma had promised him an enormous cake with tenths of strawberries on top. He'd doubted it as she'd rattled on how she already paid Missy Betsy, the town's most famous baker, half the sum of money for the cake and was going to fully pay her the rest before his day. She'd even swore on her mother's grave. His mother has never swore before while giving him a promise so he'd decided she meant to keep it.

A couple of hiccups here and there and the occasional fight needing to be broken up but overall I’m having an absolute blast. I’m just finishing my umpteenth drink when the music comes to an abrupt stop. People start to whine but then I see the crowd part as my parents carry out a massive six-tier birthday cake with sparklers on it. I smile wide as everyone starts singing me happy birthday. The cake is absolutely stunning, too pretty to even eat. It’s a white cake with gold swirls decorated over the white and each tier base is surrounded by roses. I get close to it, and it smells…oh my Goddess it smells divine. There’s a white buttercream frosting but on the inside, I can smell chocolate and
