Miles Morales Birthday Cake Novels & Stories

She added. I simply nodded and said nothing else because I was only but a contract mistress and I didn’t want my mom to know that. . . . It was Isabel’s eighteenth birthday! We were having a small party at the house, her best friend Kendall and Kate were invited, also two of her friends from her music Club. I made the three step strawberry vanilla cake and organized the exotic lunch specials with Greta. It was all pink themed and exactly how Isabel wanted it. “What!?” Eric immediately exclaimed on the phone, drawing my attention from making small slices of the cake to him.

Jack asked, frowning because usually, people would order that much for Mont Blanc. “It’s the usual customer, you know. The cancer kid? She wants to celebrate her birthday with her friends and she wishes to eat chocolate cake because she can finally taste it as she’s free from cancer.” “Oh, she’s finally free?” Jack asked, a glint of happiness evident in his eyes. “Well good for her, she had it for so long since 5 years ago.” “You already tell them to give lots of chocolate and some strawberries, right?” Jack added. “About the chocolate one, I already requested it but as for the strawberry.. no, since they only order chocolate cake.”

My breath bottled up in my chest, clinging to some small fraction of hope that maybe one day things wouldn't be so broken between us. “Mom, can you help me bring them out?” She looked to her mom, who got up and walked to the kitchen with Lucy. Moments later, the two of them emerged, Lucy holding a dinosaur cake for Asher and her mom holding an elaborately decorated cake with French macarons and a small pink champagne bottle sticking out of it for me. Everyone sang “Happy Birthday” as Lucy’s mom placed my cake in front of me, with twenty-one slim sparkler candles on top of it. “Happy birthday, dear Asher and Jasmine!” everyone sang out, “Happy birthday to you!”

She is having a reminisce of her work at Hayes. “Shh…shh, don’t worry, I forgave you okay?” Calix pats her back to calm her down, fighting his tears not to come out. The sun was already out when Faye woke up in her sleep. She stayed up last night until dawn, baking Selene’s cake. She made a two-tier fondant cake in vanilla flavor with beautiful flowers in all sides made from succulent colors of yellow, red, and pink icings. She bought a banner with gold letters of “Happy Birthday” written in a very elegant font and stick in at the top center. She put in on the refrigerator, preparing it for the party she and Calix planned.

"Aren't we all? Hayan mo na. Nage-enjoy lang 'yung tao. It's her second life." "We get it naman. Ang akin lang baka kasi mapagod or mabinat. You know how traitor cancer is. By the way, birthday n'ya sa Thursday, punta kayo ni Wil," aya ko dito. "Sige. Miss ko na cake at luto ng papa mo," nakangising saad nito sabay tayo. "Balik na ko sa pwesto ko. Baka ma-award na naman ako."

Is that for me? “Oh, you are up early. Help me decorate the cake, will ya?” Elijah chuckled, his smile was way too bright this morning. I walked to the counter. It was a black coloured cake with a cigarette as its icing. Wow... I knew Elijah was the chef in the house but not like this... “Whose birthday is it?” I couldn’t help but ask as I carried the cake to the fridge. Elijah looked up from the sauce pan then smiled. “Croix’s birthday is today.”

“Your stitches haven’t been removed yet. If something reopens....” “I’ll be careful,” Ruby cut in. “I promise.” And because of her, because she had done something he didn’t even know he needed, Hector did something he hadn’t done in years. He ordered a cake. He called in some of his men. For the first time since his parents’ death, Hector Morales celebrated his birthday. He didn’t hide why. “I’m only doing this,” he told Ruby in front of everyone, “because you went out of your way to give me a gift I never expected.”

“This is delicious.” She said chewing the food. “Is this a new recipe, Mary? I don’t think I have tasted this yet.” Mary smiled at her. “It is, Lady Mallory. I baked that cake for Carissa. Today’s her birthday.” Adrienne turned her head to look at Carissa. “You sly woman,” she jested her. “You don’t even say it’s your birthday today.” “We mean to call you for later, Lady Adrienne.” Carissa said looking at her with her gentle eyes.

Then she realised that Brent really didn't like her. And because he didn't, he couldn't see the fondness she hid in the cake and suppressed under his eyes. "Well, now it's time to blow out the candles." Hermosa put aside the fleeting loss and picked up the birthday candle from the table in the shape of the number '29' and placed it on the cake. She lit it carefully, shielding it from the light of the fire, the small moles under her eyes and on her cheeks swaying in a warm glow against the faintest hint of spring in them, "Make a wish, sir."

" Seeing the clear flicker of conflict on her face, I pressed harder, and she finally gave in. But Jared stepped forward from the side and hooked his pinky around hers before cautiously saying, "Naomi happily went to school this morning, Heather. You haven't heard anything about an accident from the school, so why is Miles suddenly asking for money the moment he comes home? "If Naomi's really sick, just cancel the birthday party package. I've never celebrated my birthday before, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. "Though I've always envied people who throw lively parties to celebrate their birthdays, and this is the first birthday we will be celebrating together, it's fine. I guess I'm jus
