POV Rose Power... Rose was going to be a real part of the pack so she had to complete a few things before she could be part of the pack. Rose woke up before the sun She pulled out her little black shorts and a matching top. She made sure her long red hair was in a high ponytail. Her first chore was to go the armory and practice. She picked a simple 9 mm and checked the mag making sure it wasn't loaded. She picked out a small leather holster that would fit perfectly in the small of back. After yesterday’s episode, I was fresh and ready for a new day. I opened my door and fell over something in hallway. Good thing no one was out here because it would be really embarrassing. I got up on my feet and looked down at what caused my fall. My heart jumped with excitement when I saw that it was a bouquet of the most gorgeous roses I’d ever seen. I had only been here for 3 days, so who would send me roses? I picked up the vase and examined them. There was a little black card inside. He leaned over, his body retching and convulsing, he held his knees for support as he spat out a mouthful of thick gloop. He stood up, a thin veil of sweat soaking through his shirt as he stumbled a few steps back. He didn't know if it was just him or the whole world spinning, it made him dizzy. His hands were not content just to linger at my chest and started to slide lower. I was getting lost in the pleasure, telling myself to just let go for once. Howard was good at this–really good. His hands alone were enough to send me soaring. Then, out of nowhere, he stopped. I pulled off my eye mask and saw him undressing. I was embarrassed, knowing that was not right, but my body was telling a different story. He looked down at me with a gentle smile, his good looks sending my heart into a flutter. "Ma'am, is this okay?" he asked.

"Hey..." Rose looked at the girl with questionable eyes, "Hii I am Amelia, Mr. Knight's secretary..." She introduced herself, "And it's my job to make coffee for him so I will do it you can go..." Rose noticed the hint of jealousy in her voice but she kept quiet. Rose placed the mug on the kitchen counter and left without saying anything. When she was about to exit Amelia stopped her, "I didn't expect you to give up so easily, I thought you will be a bitch..."

Since she’d made it impossible for me to apologize to her in person, I thought maybe a gift—an olive branch, as it were—would do the trick. But I hadn’t had much luck at the store. Most of the rosebushes they stocked were common, hearty brands. I’d wanted to get something rare, something special that stood out, like she stood out. When I asked the owner, she’d shaken her head before telling me all she had were a couple seeds for some midnight supreme rosebushes.

How did it get there? Rain stared down at the rose she had found by her bedside the second the woke up. The scent drifting in the air and causing her to smile. It reminded her of her time in the cabin and Rain didn’t realize how much she missed waking up to the comforting scent of roses until this one was brought to her. Rain silently wondered with a smile, would they still let her go back to the cabin or did Alexander plan to have her stay in the mansion permanently?

Then, he gave me a polite smile. The view changed after that. Rose stood there, lost in her thoughts. Everything around her is dark and broken. She started to move, she moved her right foot towards the jeep, then she slowly moved another and after a step she stopped and turned her neck to her shoulder and a drop of water moved out from her beautiful black eyes and then slipped on her red cheeks.

Alpha Jackson concludes. Nodding to her father and myself, Kate turns away and heads back to her suite to get ready. Looking at Boyd as he comes out of the room, alone, he walks up to Alpha Jackson to try and maybe apologize but Alpha Jackson throws his hand up and walks away. Looking at Boyd one last time, I too walk away and start praying to the Moon Goddess she makes this right. Kate POV

Mason hung his head down once again. "Luna, it's okay. There's one thing I can do to fix this." I looked up at her. She had a questioning look on her face. "I, Alexandria Rivers, daughter to Beta Edward and Joyce Rivers, reject you, Mason Jackson, future Alpha of the Green Wood pack."
