Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

The creature crawled around on its belly, dragging its slender form around the table and shaking off icy crystals with every movement. Gods, it looked so fragile. Now that its tail had unfurled, she could see it was bigger, or at least longer, than she had initially thought, but even then, it was scarcely as long as her arm from fingertip to elbow including the flexible tail now swiping from left to right. Its scales were so small she could hardly tell where each individual one began and ended, all of them an almost translucent blue-tinged white that shimmered under the torchlight’s flickering illumination. There was a shifting light underneath them, too, that reminded her of a frozen waterf

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

The Ascension

The Ascension

“This Goddess happens to be lacking entertainment for the few days to come.” The Gift of that giant who belonged to the Kapre species was the red barrier that he could conjure to surround him on all sides. Ley had so much trouble dealing with it because every time a shield break, another take its place in a matter of seconds. The headache was real considering that the enemy could definitely conjure the shield several more times.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

The words had already been said to this point. The people around looked at the man standing in the center again. Carl turned slightly, lifted his fair hand, and looked casual, but there was a kind of pressure around him that was hard to ignore. Facing the so-called immortal sect magic weapon that Elder Mystic Vale mentioned, he didn't even try to dodge. He just put his hand right on it. Actually, that was a mirror that could show the true forms of all kinds of monsters in the world. As long as you put your hand on it, no matter how deep your skills were, everything would be exposed.

The Alpha General's Substitute Bride

The Alpha General's Substitute Bride

“Cover your nose, Tempest. Goddess, I don’t think it’s healthy to be in such a closed space…” “No, wait, Archer!” I fought him when he tried to push me aside. “It’s a little farther in. I need to get there…” “Tempest, NO!” He reached for my arm, but I slipped past him and almost ran to the spot I wanted. Right in front of me rose a solid carapace so black it could’ve been obsidian. Almost three meters. Concave. Sharp. Dangerous. Worse, the black was smeared with a reddish slime clinging to it.

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

The Skarn staggered, but the black glass armor held. I stood at the edge of the tree line, my surgical mind tearing the creature's anatomy apart. The beast had no eyes and no visible respiratory vents. It was not breathing oxygen. It was drawing the Elder resonance directly from the soil through the microscopic pores in its chitin. It was a closed biological circuit. "Killian!" I shouted over the chaos, broadcasting my voice through the mate bond. "Blunt force is not going to breach the carapace. The armor is a kinetic sink. It absorbs the impact to protect a highly pressurized internal core."

The mafia’s captive

The mafia’s captive

Below, the sea crashed like an ancient beast remembering its rage. “Are you ready?” Malthea whispered as they reached the stone gate. Cassie looked at her son, then at her husband. “Yes. We seal this. Forever.” The Mural. It wasn’t just a carving. It was alive. Stretching fifty feet tall, the ancient mural depicted eyes—thousands of them—crying black water. Beneath the mural pulsed a mirrored pool, rippling though no wind stirred it. The Mirror Heart slept beneath that water. It looked like nothing and everything all at once. A shimmer. A soul. A sorrow.

The Prince Of The Lycans My Mate Dark Secrets

The Prince Of The Lycans My Mate Dark Secrets

The Mirrorborn queen was flung in the opposite direction, her silver-lit body flickering like a broken lantern. In the chaos, Maelor stood untouched. His arms spread as though in welcome, the glow from his fractured skin pulsing in rhythm with the claw. The thing forcing its way through the mirror was neither beast nor god but something beyond comprehension. The claw shimmered with translucent flesh, its talons the size of spires. Each tap against the floor carved canyons into the sanctum stone.

The Magic Bean

The Magic Bean

Dike requested that he be in the middle of the line so that those behind him can hold him from falling out of their given path. Emeka’s mouth can clearly show some whitish stuff that is stained from the milk he just took. The milk is said to nullify the effect of spells and poisons and it was administered to Emeka so that he could recover from the effect of his earlier encounter in the land of ‘Don’t look up’. The impact on his health was nothing compared to the fact that he just became the first person to see the un-seeable and lived. His achievement may lead to a chieftaincy title as the first to see the un-seeable. The use of mirrors was also established as a means of seeing these strange
