Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

Revenge of the Betrayed: The Domineering Duke Falls for Me

“Do you know what this is?” “I do not,” Miranda answered honestly. “I simply thought the carving on it was beautiful, so I chose it.” What an obvious excuse. If it were truly about beauty, the treasury had no shortage of finer, more exquisite objects. It was plain she had deliberately picked the most unremarkable thing she could find, just to avoid attracting notice. The King chuckled inwardly, his eyes gleaming with faint mischief. “You have a keen eye. This bead may look unremarkable, but it’s carved from millennia-aged material. That material forms from the oil secreted by a rare deep-sea fish—it takes hundreds, even thousands of years underwater to become a bead even the size of a teardr

Shadows of the Lost

I’m tired of all of this. Shaking her head, she let out a breath, trying to compose herself before looking straight ahead. The street outside the beach was punctured with brown sands. There were houses lining in rows and flags waving in poles as tall as her. A loud neigh caught her attention. She turned to look at an elegant carriage dragged by a Shorne. It’s a four-legged creature similar to a horse but instead of a skin, it has dark mists surrounding its body, dancing like flames in its visible bones. Its wide-set skeletal eyes, reflecting Z distortedly, made her take a step back.

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.

Hellblades

Hellblades

It moved with an eerie fluidity that defied its massive size. Pelin gripped my arm, her breath shallow. “Tell me that’s not real,” she whispered. “It’s real,” I said, forcing myself to look. “And it’s not alone.” Capricorn, the sea goat, swam alongside it. Half-beast, half-fish, its spiraling horns cut through the water with terrifying grace. Its muscular upper body merged into a powerful, scaled tail, propelling it forward like a nightmare from the depths of the ocean.

Beneath The Shadows

Beneath The Shadows

Nagar halted in his tracks and aimed at the same direction as well. It was a carapace or a nest of some kind which was full of holes. He could see cobwebs forming at the top and bottom of the accursed thing. He observed it cautiously, the hairs in his skin standing up in disgust. It looked like a hornet's nest but the coloration of the object looked sickly and unnatural. Strangely, the texture was comparable to a starfish's. While observing it, he noticed movement from the clustered tiny holes. They crawled out like maggots, moving and squirming before retracting back in the dark. "That was the most creepiest shit I've seen so far." Nagar said as he stared in wonder. "Let's go." Lukas ordere

Kirou had just managed to return to his feet from that roll when he had to backflip to avoid the carapace shield minotaur from stomping on his lowered figure. The Alpha's Witch Mate

Because when Xavier had used his magic to teleport them, the only thing on his mind was the cave of Tamarin, the way Melody had explained it to him. So when Xavier and Melody along with the unconscious Serena appeared again, they received the greatest shock of their lives when they saw a great beast guarding the entrance of the cave of Tamarin. It was larger than a whale and it was asleep. It had huge scaly arms and enormous wide legs that curled on the earth as it slept. There was a massive hill on its back, making it look like it had a shell. Or was it a shell? [Don't move a muscle],Melody told him quickly. [You don't want to wake the spirit turtle].

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

Chapter 23: The Monster in the Glass The creature hit the floor with a wet thud. Green fluid splashed across the pristine white tiles. The beast rose to its full height. It stood ten feet tall. Its gray skin was covered in chitinous plates that looked like ancient armor. Titan opened its mouth. It let out a roar that shattered the remaining glass of the containment tank. Garrett Vance did not wait to watch the show. He turned and sprinted toward a hidden panel in the wall. He punched in a code. The wall slid open to reveal a private escape pod.
